Much better sound
I modified this to fit my Samsung Tab A tablet. The side-firing speaker and the added protective cover of the Tab A, muffled the sound badly. I saw this product, which is a great idea! I decided to trim it to make it fit, and attached it with automotive-grade double sided tape. I was pleasantly surprised, that this fairly easy modification, works very well. My tablet is now used on the middle of the sound level. Before I had to crank it up to be able to hear it at all. The deflector's theory is genius(I made some deflector's out of floor vent air deflector's for my wall mount flat screen TV). The theory of operation applies to other devices /speakers.You will like the result!

It's ok
Great idea. Poor execution. So it doesn't what it is supposed to do for the sound. It redirects from the back to the front and that is awesome. However, this thing does not want to stay attached to my iPad. It goes on easy enough but ai noticed something about the magnet. It seems to repel from, not attract to the iPad. A piece of tape has solved that issue. The design might be better with some grippy plastic or silicone instead of the hard plastic or better yet, a hair clip type design with tension holding to the iPad.

Doesn't fit my ipad
Revising my review. It will not stay on my Ipad. Does not even fit the shape. If you try moving it..it covers the home button and the charging port. Not happy.

Does what it says
It is effective regardless of reviews in that it redirects sound towards the listener. It does not provide stereophonic sound or whatever people expect it to do. It sits over one sound port with its magnet and yes, can knock off if you accidently brush against it. I only wish it was a bit more flexible, but it is sturdy.
