Whew! It gets super HOT! Curls Perfectly! Suggest you start at 325-350 and use heat protection & heat-glove it comes with. If you want Beautiful BIG Curls this curling iron is the one to purchase.

Would NOT recommend this. It made my hair smell so bad. I could barely get a curl, and my hair is very easy to curl usually. I washed my hair and it still smells. I feel it was hot enough to burn my hair, but not hot enough to curl it. Sending this back and never buying again.

This was perfect for trips and home.

Gets very hot (very quickly) and I didn’t have this on maximum heat, so be careful. I have only tried it once but it’s created the look I was going for. Pinning up the curls while they cool would help to hold a tighter curl. Love it.
