I needed this because most power taps with surge protection lack enough space for the 3-5 transformers I find my self having to plug in more and more. (Note to Amazon industrial designers: make your wall warts smaller or, at the end of regular cord.)The one negative with this is that it is a one save and done. If the device blows from a brown out, and saves your equipment, it is a dead dog. Not resettable.I have a couple Kensingtons from the 1990s that are the same and, only one of them had this happen (living with the crappy Connecticut power company — worst in the USA!) But Kensington sends you a new one! (Well, a few years ago they did.) Plus, the old Kensington still works but JUST as a power strip. No protection. Which, for the basement work table, for non electronic stuff, is perfectly fine.I also picked this because it is Philips, I have two other older strips from them and they have performed well, and it is of a design where it will look OK under a table in the living room. Not some ugly, black chunk of overly designed junk but simple, white, flat.

Nice charger, the side with spaced sockets can fit an iPad, switch and block phone charger without them touching each other. My only complaint is this sits near the head of the bed and the green light on it is very bright at night.

We use this strip in our kitchen everyday for everything from a rice cooker to a blender to Makita battery chargers & USB phone charging. Cable is thick (well-insulated?). We like the master power switch in case we need to simply turn it off for the night.

Had to return because BOTH rattled when moved slightly. That seems potentially hazardous, so we returned. Bought the same strip elsewhere (Target) for similar price and no odd noises.

Mounted to a standing desk; the cord length is perfect. Quality product and I recommend.

Have no issues with it so far. Only plugging in phone chargers , laptop, so I can’t review on large wattage items.

The item was bought for a college student to use for a computer. This is feedback from the user that it worked very well.I did not use this product, it was a gift, so please don't ask me to review it again.
