Doesn't take up alot of space
I bought this adapter to get rid of the cable mess in my car, and it does exactly what it promises. Setup was stupid easy—plug it in, pair once, and it just works. It connects automatically every time I start the car, which honestly feels like how CarPlay should’ve worked from the beginning. The connection has been stable for me with no random dropouts, even on rough roads. I was a little skeptical about lag, but navigation, music, and calls all run smoothly. The build quality is solid and premium, and it doesn’t look cheap or out of place in the car. I also like that it gets firmware updates, so it doesn’t feel like a one-and-done gadget. As long as your car already supports wired CarPlay, this is a super clean upgrade. Definitely worth it if you’re tired of plugging your phone in every drive.

Great... When it works.
For reference: I am using this on a 2018 GTI and a relatively new Android phone. My car has wired, but not wireless, CarPlay/Android Auto. I looked into wireless CarPlay options a few years back and they didn't really make sense - $300 and the size of a large portable battery. I was excited when I saw a few of these smaller adapters come out for a tenth of the price and decided to pick one up. The good: When this connects properly it works great. There's no noticeable lag and it connects quickly. It does what I was looking for, which is hands-free CarPlay connection for short drives. The bad: Connection can be incredibly finicky when first getting in the car. It works flawlessly about 75% of the time, recognizing my phone and loading Android Auto. For some unknown reason the other 25% of the time my phone throws an error saying "Your car's software didn't pass Android Auto security checks" and refuses to connect. At this point I have to get my phone out, go to Bluetooth, manually select the wireless adapter, and then accept the connection on my car's screen. Not to mention, even though I've forgotten the car as a Bluetooth connection in my phone (and forgotten my phone's connection in the car) in favor of the wireless adapter, since the adapter is still communicating with my phone via the USB port *there is no way to remove the car as a bluetooth option*. This means that when the wireless adapter connection throws a security warning, it connects to the car via Bluetooth instead (again, no way to forget this connection since the adapter makes it for you - I even have Bluetooth turned off on my car now). Once connected directly to the car via Bluetooth I have to disconnect from that and reconnect to the wireless adapter. At the end of the day this is a pretty small inconvenience - it takes maybe 5 seconds to swipe to Bluetooth and click on the wireless adapter. BUT the entire reason for going wireless is so that I never have to take my phone out of my pocket. If I have to do this I may as well just plug the phone in when I get in the car (especially considering wireless CarPlay's battery life isn't great). I can't speak to the CarPlay functionality but hopefully the Android Auto kinks get worked out going forward.

Nice Accessory
I have had this in two different cars with CarPlay for about a year. They work very well, although once in great while they fail to connect temporarily. Easy to install and automatic once set up. I like them a lot and would rebuy if needed.

Makes CarPlay So Much Easier
I got this because I was tired of plugging in my phone every morning on the way to work. Most days I’ve got a coffee in one hand, bag in the other, and trying to get the cable in before driving off was just annoying. Now I just start the car and my phone connects on its own. Music comes on right away and maps pop up like normal without me touching anything. Setup only took a couple of minutes and it’s been working smooth. No lag, calls sound clear, and the size is so small I just leave it plugged in and forget about it. Feels like a big upgrade for such a tiny gadget. If I had to be picky, the instructions were a little plain and I just figured it out by plugging it in, but honestly it was simple enough.

Easy to set up, small & stable connection
This CarPlay adapter is honestly great. I got it as part of a Christmas gift for my boyfriend because his old adapter kept disconnecting and it was so annoying. This one is way smaller than his old one, which I really like, and it even comes with a cable so you can use either the regular USB or type C, super convenient. It works perfectly with his Nissan, and the connection has been very stable so far. Setup was incredibly easy too, it took less than a minute to get everything up and running. Overall, I’m really happy with this purchase and it’s been working exactly as expected. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic and Portable
I purchased this after thanksgiving and it worked fantastic. I took it to family Christmas celebrations on the other coast and just plugged it into my mothers car. I worked so well that I purchased one for my mother for Christmas and now (late January) my Aunt has asked where to get it. The only "issue" that I have had is that it usually does not work if somebody is using the phone as a hotspot. I believe that that is because it uses the wifi connection and the Apple Iphone cannot connect to wifi while functioning as a hotspot I am using an iphone 15 pro. The above qualifier "believe" is because it also may be that I just do not know how to connect while the Iphone is a hotspot. There have been a couple of times where my passengers seemed to be able to connect to the hotspot while I was listening to audible through the Iphone. [I would provide more details but I cannot look at the phone while driving and my passengers who need hotspots are not sufficiently computer savvy to figure it out .]

Loved it until I didn’t.
Loved this product until it recently stopped working. I’ve had it for a few months and it worked beautifully with my car and phone. Inexplicably, it will no longer connect my phone to my car. My car recognizes it, and my Bluetooth on my phone connects, but I cannot figure out why it won’t reflect my phone on my car.

Easy to use carplay
This Wireless CarPlay Adapter exceeded my expectations. Setup took less than a minute, plug it in, pair once, and it now connects automatically every time I start the car. The connection is stable, with smooth audio, fast app loading, and almost no lag compared to a wired connection. It makes daily driving much more convenient since I no longer need to plug in my phone. The interior also looks cleaner without cables everywhere. I’ve tried a few adapters before, and this one is definitely the most reliable. Highly recommended for anyone wanting an easy, seamless wireless CarPlay upgrade.
