Best garment rack I've ever had, and as a New Yorker (where you're lucky to have a closet 2 feet wide, if you get one at all!) I've gone through many different brands, materials, etc, from the cheap & dirty to the high end varieties. None of them survived- some couldn't be disassembled and reassembled properly or at all, some were too heavy, even without clothing on them, to carry into a 4th floor walk up, but mostly, none of them could really bear the weight of all my clothing- even when I only hung up dresses, blouses, and light items that needed to hang- all still buckled in the center. I wanted a rack that was sturdy enough to hang all my clothing, could be taken apart and reassembled with ease, attractive enough to be on display in the bedroom, and preferably some racks for folded sweaters & towels. I wouldn't have though such a coat rack existed until I found this one, and I'm in love. This rack is sturdy, holds a LOT of clothing, and the shelves are great for storing sweaters, towels, shoes etc. I love that it's easy to move as well- the wheels lock very securely into place, but can be unlocked and easily pushed out of the way to clean or rearrange your room. I love that it has both a top and bottom rack- most clothing racks are open at the top, but the top on this gives you an extra shelf, and covered with fabric or lined up bins, keeps your clothing from fading or getting dusty. The bottom rack, of course, is perfect for shoes- no need to buy a separate shoe rack or to move all your shoes when you need to sweep- they move along with the rack. The second photo helps show scale, you can see next to the door that it's quite tall!Easy to assemble the first time, just as easy to disassemble and put back together again after a move. I was worried the chrome would look too industrial or like it belonged in a garage- but it's incredibly chic, shiny, and unobtrusive in style. The photo shows this clothing rack with only about 3/4 of my clothing currently on it- it holds a lock of clothing. In the first photo-see the two garment bags directly right of the shelf portion? They hold a ballgown made of very heavy brocade, a floor length wool felt coat with faux fur trim, with several other projects squeezed into each bag. So it can hold very heavy clothing! It never bends, not even with very heavy items on it. You shouldn't put two heavy things on one side, but I did for about a month before I rearranged everything again. It's been 2 years since I bought this rack, not a buckle, bend, or break, still looks brand new. I was a little leery of ordering this, given it had no reviews yet and was significantly more expensive than similar-looking units. We had purchased a similar (albeit much cheaper) unit which we liked, but it was poor quality and was collapsing within 6 months. I do really like these "free standing" closets, as we don't have many clothes (this unit will fit mine and hubby's hanging clothes) but I didn't like that I had to fear the cheap unit we're replacing would collapse on me. I wanted something sturdier and have this kind of wire shelving in our kitchen (which is VERY heavy duty), so I decided to go ahead and give this unit a chance and hoped the construction/durability reflected the price. I am VERY glad I did. It cost 3X as much as our last unit, but I'm betting this will last the rest of forever!Pros:Very nice wheels that screw into the unit and are all metal casing and solid rubber. Easily move across the carpet, and one pair has a locking mechanism. These are not the cheap "snap in" wheels you see on most units like this.Poles screw together instead of snapHeavy-guage steel was used in the poles and shelvesAdjustable shelve height and adjustable height of the lower barThe ONLY plastic on this unit are the 2-piece spacer which hold up the shelves. These are easily replaceable if one ever cracks, and they included a spare set (2 pieces) in the package in case one broke on youEasy enough to assemble. I am a fairly small woman and this only took me about 30 minutes, and most of that was spent on deciding how high I wanted the shelves. I did not need the instructions, it was pretty self-explanatory how the pieces fit together.Cons:None that I can outright say are a issue. Not sure how I feel about how the upper clothed rods are suspended, but I don't foresee major issues with them, just haven't ever seen a setup like that before.Overall i would recommend this product to someone looking for a nicer unit than the "$49.99", fall apart in a few months, kind :-)

This is a very strong garment rack that is well built with a few minor things that could be improved to make it perfect. This garment rack has enough space to hang all the clothes I need for one person. I would have to mention that the rack could use a few more inches of height so that the dual racks shown on the picture as on the right side, could have more room. This lack of height causes me to have to hang all my shirts on the lower rack and my pants on the upper. If this had a little more height you could fit the clothes you anticipate much easier. Now that being said it isn't that you can't fit everything on here...it just overlaps the lower hangers and makes it very difficult to not have the top rack overhang the lower (adjustable) one if you put the lower rack at the level required to not have items touch the bottom shelf. Keep in mind I've placed the top and bottom adjustable shelving at the highest and lowest levels. The materials and construction are perfect. I wish it was a few inches taller and a little (small bit) wider to compensate for being a little taller. Almost perfect and worth the extra price if you don't want to buy the plastic crap they sell equivalent to this item. Make sure you buy a cover if you want to use this a closet replacement.

I wouldn’t say not to get it though, just know what you are getting. I went through a phase and bought a few wire shelving products based on size, number of shelves and price so I’ve seen light ones like this before.None of the shelves would be good for anything small and heavy - those wires could be bent by hand. If you have heavy stuff, box it in a stiff box so the weight is carried over many wires.I love it for what I use it for: temp waredrobe. I put both bars across the top and hung hooks. Now I have no reason to put anything I might want to wear again on the floor or over something. I don’t want to fold anything or put something worn back on a hanger, enter: hooks. I even purchased a wire shelving accessory of a bar of non moving hooks that I have facing the big area where I now hang bras. Farther back they go, the more I have worn them and they can stay there pre-separated until laundry day and they can go in the “bra bag” without digging for them.Speaking of laundry, I have my basket up off the floor under my “to reuse” clothes where it is handy to throw laundry. I also purchased a triangle shelf that uses up some of the space behind my door for everyday items like deodorant. I could have used more 18” shelves but I stopped at counter height for a place to put my glasses at night along with lesser used day to day items (perfume, talc). I’ve purchased boxes for the other shelves.Basically I’m a big kid and this helps me keep stuff from accumulating on the ground. Could be great for a kids room. The plus is the wheels - you just roll it away and sweep or vacuum behind it and roll it back.

I really love this cart!! Sturdy and looks great. My only complaint is the hanging length is too short. My shirts on the top lay on the bar below and get tangled in the hangers.
