Fiddly to wires up and no option for the earth, but once I'd figured all that out, this turns a normal dumb electrical item into a smart product I can control remotely.I've coupled it with a Flic button and IFTTT to automate and turn on / off, so it now fits in with our automated home.Would be much better if they gave you a bit more room to fit the wires and possibly run through the earth connection, and overall improve the visual appeal, but for the money and time in installing, I'm happy.

This device, Smart WiFi Switch Remote Control Switch Wireless Switch , switches the neutral line. I'm fairly sure that if wired into a household electrical circuit it would not confirm with IEE regulations. Early days but it does seem to work.

3 of the 4 products bought didn’t have correct amount of solder on the terminal and the came off when opened.

Item description is incorrect, this is a simple on/off WiFi switch. Easy to install and so far reliable. Shame about the false description as I was really after a dimmable smart switch.

I used this unit to switch my outside security lights on using Alexa

On the unit it says "Smart Home" on the outside of the unit, but it uses the "smart life" application to control it. not the "smart home" application.also the unit is advertised as a " Dimmer" it CANNOT dim or brighten lights. it can only switch them ON/OFF. which is fine, but not what I wanted

Easy to set up, works great. Would be great if they could integrate it into a ceiling rose fitting, I improvised a safe spacer to accommodate this switch. wired up so wall switch still operates if internet fails. Very Happy.

Having used similar types before, bought this and what a waste of cash it turned out to be. The actual connection on the inside of the unit for the power out side was loose, not even attached to the control board, making the unit totally useless. Amazon did refund my money with zero hassle tho - Thanks Amazon.
