Rabbit Clear Ice Sphere Mold Tray (Blue/Slate)

Worked exactly as advertised. Great price compared to other products. Great for parties, holidays, get togethers, or personal use.

It actually makes (mostly) clear ice. The problem is filling it can be tricky (no clear instructions) and the silicon portion starts to push apart as it's freezing (making misshapen spheres and causing part of the sphere to frost up -not quite clear). But overall it's better than trying DIY methods for clear ice.Edit: while they frost up slightly, once in a beverage they clear up. They still start misshapen because the silicon pushes up as the freeze, but they make really clear ice

Wanted clear ice balls for Old Fashioneds. Have tried many ice ball makers. this seemed like a great idea, however: it was hard to fill w water, took up a LOT of space in the freezer, was hard to get the balls out of wo just running water over it all and reducing the size of the balls, the balls had defects in them (not perfectly round), and they were not actually clear. So duped my expectations once again for easy clear cocktail balls... Just a bit too iffy for me.

I've been using this ice tray for a while now and it's truly efficient. Easy ice removal, simply a breeze. The fact it makes 4 spheres at once is a neat feature. And the ice spheres? Crystal clear! The insulated base is a bonus. Works great! I love this! Thumbs up for a well-designed product.

I found using a small funnel makes filling MUCH easier and cleaner!

Poorly conceived design with no clear instructions. I emailed the manufacturer and they responded with directions for a different product. I tried to proceed on my own with unacceptable results. Ended up returning the item to Amazon.

I really like this ice sphere mold from Rabbit. The insulated base is truly a game changer - a feature that's as cool as the ice it produces. And talk about convenience, it's so easy to use that I swear my pet rabbit could do it! So, if you want to amp up your cocktail game or simply enjoy a chilled drink, this mold is your go-to gadget. Ice ice baby indeed!

Sometimes I can get decent spheres, usually not all of them. I also don't believe the mold fits well enough to make a good seal. So after a number of uses I have just given up on this thing - back to the big cubes.
