Love these. Love the size increments (metric). They ARE longer than I'm used to, but this was just fine for my application(s). Come in a chintzy plastic sleeve (one for each), but whatever, that seems standard for feeler gauges these days.

Very nice set of gauges at a good price. I keep them in my tool bag for quick gap checks.

I bought these for doing guitar setups on my instruments. I did not need microscopic precision, and these are exactly what I wanted. I've read other review where people are complaining that they were covered in oil when they arrived. Well, YEAH...They're STEEL. They're meant to be packed and shipped so they can sit on a shelf for a couple years before they sell. OF COURSE they're covered in oil! If they HADN'T been and they came with the slightest amount of oxidation on them, the person complaining about the oil would have complained about that. I expected them to be oily. They weren't as bad as I expected. I opened the package, took a rag, and wiped them down. Then I used them. Easy as that. They work as advertised. They do what I bought them to do. I have no complaints.

My old feeler gauge was missing some thinner sizes I needed. This item arrived with lubricant that needed to be wiped off, which is a good thing. It's well made, easy to use, and a great value. I haven't measured the individual blades for accuracy, but they're marked well. It's easier to use than the one it's replacing.

Covers a lot of sizes up to 1mm and both imperial and metric are etched on the blades. Not stainless as some have pointed out but then it can’t be or it wouldn’t flex enough. It’s made with manganese steel which is rust resistant and allows the blades to flex but have hardening to not wear away so easily when sliding in the gaps. Coated with oil of course and I recommend spraying them with lanolin or similar after some use. They appear to be accurate enough when I used my digital vernier callipers on some blades. Good purchase.

Aunque se pueden usar para mecánica o motores, yo las he comprado específicamente para trabajos de luthería y mantenimiento de guitarras, y la verdad es que me han sorprendido gratamente por la calidad que tienen. BUena precisión milimétrica: Para ajustar la altura de las cuerdas (acción) o el relieve del mástil, necesitas medidas exactas. Estas galgas vienen con las medidas grabadas con mucha claridad y no se borran con el roce. Traen un rango de hojas muy completo. Desde las más finas para comprobar el primer traste, hasta las más gruesas. Me permite dejar mis guitarras ajustadas al milímetro, algo que se nota muchísimo al tocar. Las hojas son de acero inoxidable de buena calidad. Tienen la flexibilidad justa: no se doblan ni se quedan marcadas con facilidad, algo vital cuando estás midiendo espacios tan pequeños entre la cuerda y el traste. Un detalle importante es que vienen con una ligera capa de aceite para evitar la oxidación. Es algo normal en herramientas de precisión, aunque si las vas a usar en maderas delicadas o diapasones sin barnizar, te recomiendo pasarles un paño rápido antes de empezar. Si eres luthier aficionado como yo y te gusta hacer tus propios ajustes a las guitarras en casa, estas galgas son una inversión mínima para el salto de calidad que le vas a dar a tus instrumentos. Relación calidad-precio de diez. Volvería a comprarlas.
