I bought this primarily to replace a lost copy of Paul Brickhill's The Dambusters, and have thoroughly enjoyed the other books included in the set. While my interest is mainly aircraft, I've been fascinated by the story of the Cockleshell heroes and the codebreakers of Bletchley Park, about which I knew virtually nothing.Highly recommended.

I've actually read most of these before, years ago, but it's a nice idea to package them together. Although Bomber Command doesn't really sit well with the others, it's a fine piece of work. The others are classic books from the 1950s that aren't always what you expect.
