Mopar Heater Core - 5143101AA

It is OEM for 2005 Grand Cherokee V6. Not much to say except that it fits perfectly and works immediately. The cost is lower than dealer. Arrived very fast. No leaks. Good amount of heat. The original lasted 15 years and then started to leak. I tolerated it for another 5 years and finally it crapped out. Hope this one can outlast the rest of the car. Putting it in is very easy. Taking apart the trim and drilling out the spot welds is a bitch. I bought 1/2 inch titanium drill bit from home depot, which made the drill-out process much faster. I used two small bolts and large washers to reconnected the brackets afterwards. The whole process took me 8 hours but I am sure others can do much faster.

Perfect fit as described factory part but didn't last was in the car all summer no issues first couple cold days smelled antifreeze then it started to leak when remove found leak in middle of fins. Don't know what happened.

So far so good. Only trust the mopar heater cores. They last three or four years versus the parts stores last maybe a year if you're lucky. Some of the parts stores only last a week. I always plug mine in and run the truck and test it before tearing apart the dashboard and installing it. FYI. This does fit a 04 Dakota

I highly recommend using the O.E.M. heater core for the 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4.7. I have been fighting heat problems for years using aftermarket parts. 2 different Auto Zone(Spectra brand) cores did not work correctly. Finally I bought this Mopar heater core and now the heat works perfectly. I replaced everything in the system and it ended up being cheap replacement parts. For something like this that is a major job stick with factory parts it will save you time money and headaches in the long run. I know from experience... I wasted alot of time and money chasing down this problem.

Heater Core was installed in my 2007 Jeep Commander. Fit perfectly and works great just in time for cold weather and the coming winter !!

Perfect fit

Got this Mopar brand Heater coil and was looking at new and saved $25 by going with used but new and has never been installed on a vehicle. Just saying and maybe got lucky and a few fins on the end were loose but big deal. Very Happy and time will tell for sure!!
