I am sorry to say the answer is no, the MX switches are soldered onto the PCB. **Q: Can you use the keyboard without installing the driver? Working on company laptop where I can’t install software.** A: Yes u still have some control of the keyboard leds. **Q: does this keyboard work with macOS?** A: *NOT A MAC USER, BUT LINUX* I was able to use the keyboard just fine with Linux but the setup utility is what they're talking about when it comes to the operating system. Use a virtual machine or windows partition (boot camp in mac's case) and you can change the color. You also won't be able to use the applications built in functions like macros and things, so you'd have to find alternatives.
