I have severe arthritis, and of course right before my wedding developed a raging case of plantar fasciitis. My PT recommended icing, and so I bought this product. It’s perfect that it includes 2, so I can ice both feet at once. I love the outer fabric cover, as it feels nice on the skin. Previously, I used something with a plastic cover, and the way that it froze was in every which direction. This pack is pliable and conforms to the shape of your injured area. And you can even use it in the cooler! It’s easy to clean from different uses. I’m sure I’ll use it for various joints as they begin to ache.

I have bad knees and was looking for something easier than a dripping bag of ice to put on them when they bother me or after working out. These ice packs fit my needs perfectly. They freeze quickly, and once frozen you can still bend them into shape to drape over your knee or whatever body part needs icing. They stay cold plenty long enough (you should only ice for 15-20 minutes at a time anyway), and there's no dripping or mess. I haven't tried them as warm packs but I think they would work well for that also.Great product, reasonable price. I would highly recommend!

Updating my review after using the gel packs as a hot compress 3-4 times a day for about a month. I pulled a shoulder muscle so I started using the gel packs more often since it was easier than having a wired heating pad connected to me at all times. The pads worked great but I felt that as I got towards the month mark, they didn't stay as hot/warm for as long as they did in the beginning. Not sure if its was the gel losing its effect or my body just getting use to the heat.As someone who has an autoimmune condition with rheumatoid arthritis gel pads have become a must have for me. I specifically picked these gel packs because I can use the heat for all my aches and the cold to reduce my fevers when I’m flaring up. These gel packs are the perfect size and weight to use at home or take on the go when traveling. I’ve found that 15-20 seconds in the microwave is the perfect temperature for me. I’ve used them 1-2 time each day for the past couple of days and they’ve held up great!

These compresses are really full of the 'gel' and when you freeze them, they will last a long time while you are using them. The ones I have bought at Walgreens are 'ok', but seem to lose their chill too fast, and don't have nearly as much 'gel' in them. Sometimes I may have multiple parts of my body I want to use the compress on, and these will stay cold and effective for a long time to allow you to do that. They will really stay cold for over an hour, very impressed!

I only use these for cold application. I love the size of these and how soft they are. They are great to place on your neck for headaches, for muscle aches, inflammation, or tendonitis. You can use an ace bandage to wrap them on joints or lay/sit against them for shoulder and back areas. The only thing I caution is that they do tend to get a little frosty in the freezer so makes use to use with a thin towel or paper towel to collect moisture as they defrost. But it’s always good practice to use a towel with ice packs to prevent frost burn.

I love that these can be used cold or hot! So helpful since the doctor always says, "alternate heat and ice" Haha! These are made super strong and the material is nice feeling compared to most ice packs, keeps them from being slippery. When you first take them from the freezer they are very rigid, not hard as ice but stiff for sure... all you have to do is bend it back and forth a few times!

This ice pak is pretty good but not as good as an ACE product of the same sort I purchased 2-3 years ago. This product does not come with an extra outer covering and the gel inside does get a little harder than I'd like - not as molding to the area applied until product defrosts a little. Still works in a pinch though.

I purchased these because the price was good and came in a pack of two. I have arthritis in both knees and use these 1-3 times per day. They bend easily to conform to the shape of my knee, freeze in about an hour, and not too large.
