Loved it until...updated...again.
I loved this apron until the threads holding the straps to the apron tore loose the second time I washed it.Update:This company stands behind their lifetime guarantee. A few days after leaving this review, I received a new apron in the mail free of charge. I appreciate this level of Integrity in a company.11/18/18The second apron Aiden Brothers sent me lasted longer. I line dried it, but after a couple weeks one of the straps came off in the washer. I have several aprons, some handmade, and have never had this problem. Maybe Aiden Brothers should use stronger, thicker thread and triple-stitch?2-19-2019Aiden Brothers is a company that truly stands for customer service and satisfaction.A month or so ago, they sent me a third apron with a personal note telling me that they had changed factories and added reinforcement to their stitching. As I really love this apron, I have been careful in washing it. I bound the straps with a rubber band so they wouldn't get tangled. So far, so good. Then this morning I received 2 more aprons! The enclosed note said the last apron had been accidentally sent from an old batch and didn't have the reinforcement that I can clearly see in this newest apron. See photo. The blue is from the old batch, green has reinforcement. The other is a cute puppy-patterned apron as an apology gift.I am excited to be doing business with a company that is honest and honorable.I will update again after laundering this latest apron a few times.7/03/19The last aprons sent have survived! I try to remember to band the straps so they don't tangle, but sometimes forget. So far, so good! These aprons are my favorite. They keep getting softer.Thank you, Aiden Brothers!

Wonderfully overengineered apron - I love it!
All I wanted was an apron that wouldn't hang crooked or pull on my neck. I got so much more.Generally, aprons are a simple pattern. A loop around the neck, a tie in the back. But that style never worked for me. Invariably, after a day of painting - including facepainting, children require a lot of reaching and stretching - I'd find that my old apron had twisted around up my left side and the neck loop was pulling tightly against the back of my neck. Ladies who happen to be endowed both in creativity and in a more physical sense, you know why. Ordinary flat front aprons are not at all designed to accommodate you.As I was preparing for another event, I realized I couldn't face another five to eight hours of painting faces with my apron trying to slide around to the side with only my neck to stop it.I needed an apron with wide, flat straps that went over my shoulders and never touched my neck. Also, pockets would be nice. I don't often have time to stop between painting children and accept and put away money, so I've found myself making change out of my apron pockets. My old apron had useless angled side pockets that money would fall out of, so that left the bib pocket, which was awkward. Ladies... you know why...So I went browsing through here searching for a nice, sturdy apron with straight pockets and straps that would stay put. I came across this one and I was impressed with the long, detailed description of all the things I had never even considered could factor into the design of an apron. It was more than I intially expected to spend on an apron, but it had everything I wanted and more. I wasn't sure I would ever use the grommet to feed a headphone cord through, but I liked the towel loops. I do wipe my brushes frequently as I work, after all. And there were enough deep, straight pockets to make change properly. The quick-release snap seemed excessive, but clearly this was an apron that had been designed with thought and care. Also, it comes in several colors, so I chose one to match my booth setup. I try not to miss an opportunity to make my branding more consistent. It arrived on time and in good condition. I wasn't planning on using the quick-release snap but my husband went ahead and added it since it was included and he was familiar with how to run the straps through already. It's probably a good idea, not just to avoid tying knots but also to help remember how the straps go when you pick it up to put it on, as it crosses in the back. This apron is awesome. It's off my neck, comfortable, sturdy, stays in place no matter how much reaching and painting I do, and I'm looking forward to my next face painting event. The towel loops are unobtrusive and flat when not in use, the pockets are roomy and easy to reach, it covers very well while still allowing a full range of motion. Some reviews mention loose stitching, but the stitching is excellent on mine. Tight, even, comparable to the stitching on a good pair of jeans. For what it's worth, the grommet for the headphone cord hole is installed well with no puckering or fraying in the surrounding fabric. As I consider paint splatters to be proof of painting, I doubt I'll be washing it frequently enough to wear it out anyway. In short, this is the best apron I've ever owned, possibly the best apron in existence. The sellers are rightfully proud of this marvel of apron technology, and I respect and appreciate the dedication to excellence evident in the design and manufacture. This apron is going to last a very, very long time and I'm so glad I bought it!Also the instruction cards are very sweet. 😁

Hands down, best apron
I’m a jeweler, so a good heavy cotton apron is not only an indispensable tool of convenience, but also a safety measure. This apron solves all the problems I’ve had with other aprons, and throws in extra features on top!1- the cross-back straps alone, instead of the standard neck loop, are enough to make this apron worth buying. No more weight hanging off your neck all day, no more knot at your back or wrapped in front of your belly. No more shifting sideways and leaving half your front exposed.2- the material is good solid heavy canvas, but still pleasantly soft. Is there thicker canvas out there? Sure. But unless you’re at a blacksmith’s forge or some similarly extreme environment, this should be plenty3- generous proportions. I’m 5’6”, 175lbs, so I’m not huge, but it’s been surprisingly hard to find aprons that cover my chest and my entire lap when seated at the bench. This apron comes up high, reaches down to my knees when I’m standing, and wraps around the sides of my legs.4- pockets!!! So many pockets. I have lost a few things in this apron, but I’ll happily take that problem over having one stupid floppy patch pocket.I’m considering buying another one to replace my cute but neck-bothering baking apron. I also might need to buy about 10 more so I’ll have a lifetime supply for all purposes just in case they stop selling them. It’s that good

Awesome apron with some adjustments....
I work in a greenhouse in dirt all day and needed an apron with more than the standard 2 pockets for gloves, order book, pens, etc. This was the only one I could find at less than $20. It is perfect! The only design flaw for me was that the brass buckles on the back were very uncomfortable and didn't lay right with the direction I wanted the apron to tie. I prefer to tie it around my waist with the knot (or black buckle) in the front. It way easier to get on and off this way. The brass buckles would be better off as hoops, allowing the straps to move freely and it would slide off your body quickly. I cut the brass buckles off, attached plastic zip ties, then passed the straps thru those and tied it in the front. Now it feels so much more comfortable without the metal digging into my back. Thank you for designing a great apron.

A great gardening apron
There are loads of pockets and the fit is easily adjustable to my shape, by adjusting the ties.I keep my secateurs and a few smaller tools/labels etc in the pockets. I have clipped my pocket camera and my gloves to the tapes at the side. I love it! Really practical.

Uncomfortable, bad fit
Metallic buckles exactly overlap on my back, creating uncomfortable pressure. When I tied apron more loosely to mitigate it, straps started to fall off the shoulders.

Legit the most awesome apron out there!
I bought the first one last year, in order to have a protection for my clothes while doing stained glass. Please note that this means I have done soldering and worked with chemicals with this apron, so very very intensive use!It stayed like new, and nothing ever passed through it! It behaves marvelously in the wash and honestly there is nothing that I can reproach to it!I love it so much that I have now purchased a second one for pottery work, and I expect that it will perform just as wonderfully! The colors are also amazing, and on top of everything, they don`t fade! (up until now)Seriously one of the best value for money products out there, I wish I could give it 50 stars!

Best apron for painting! Top notch Quality!
Top of the line quality! Thick, large coverage area; many pockets (easy to have cell phone protected in pocket). I hang towels from the side loops (very handy for messy painter hands, or spills/splatters). Love the buckle release instead of tying (just wrap extra length around itself - could be cut off). I'm tempted to purchase a backup as I never want to be without this apron, but with this quality I expect it to last for a very long time. Best apron I've ever owned and I've owned many! Highly recommend!
