ENLOY Kitchen Countertop Compost Bin 1.3 Gallon, Stainless Steel, Silver

Been using it for about a week for the pulp from my daily juicing. It's a much heavier and more solid feeling metal bin than I was expecting. I read reviews for other ones that were described as flimsy and thin and this was the cheapest one I could find at the time for about $20 on sale so I wasn't expecting much, but was very impressed. The lid is also quite heavy so nothing is slipping under it, adding a compost bag makes for a better seal. The lid also has two spots for filters, one at the top where the holes are and one at the bottom, both pre-installed with filters to really keep compost smells from getting through. Overall I'm very happy with the purchase, but we'll see how well it actually does at composting.

Ideal size and good appearance for the kitchen. I especially like the charcoal filter. We use and empty it daily.

Love this small compost bin. It’s just as described. Allows me to keep items until I place in big composter. No problem with smells or worrying about gnats. Easy to keep clean, works with compost bags, and reduces kitchen waste.

I keep this compost bin under my kitchen sink and regularly throw vegetable / fruit scraps in it. The pail is durable and easy to handle. I wish it was 25-35% larger, as the capacity is a bit small for my needs. I’d like to empty it once a week. I usually last four or five days at best with this. I like the charcoal filters - they really seem to block odors. I’ve been able to reuse mine, too, by washing them with soap and water and letting them dry.

This is hands-down one of the BEST purchases for the home I've ever made. Although we've been composting for decades, we'd always made do with makeshift receptacles. My menus mainly include lots of fruits & veggies so I generate tons of compostable scraps. When I saw this attractive, large & very practical container, I chose to give it a try. Although I had a "we'll see" attitude about this item, I can confirm that it is a solid choice! The charcoal filter does the job and this compact container holds more than you'd expect. I also think this would make a very practical housewarming or wedding gift.

I love the retro look of this container. The larger size keeps me from having to dump my scraps every day and the charcoal filter helps keeps the smell down. A produce bag from the grocery store fits perfectly and stays in place with a larger rubber band around the top or the can. I shopped for filter and found several deals which gets the price down quite a bit and you just need to look for "charcoal" on the description. I can use a filter for up to 3 months if I am dumping the pot once a week and nothing to ooshy and stinky gets put into it (like cantaloupe guts).

This compost bin is both practical and decorative. We had been using a plastic bucket for our compost—although it worked, it wasn’t classy looking, it was stained, and it didn’t have a lid to keep flies and gnats out. I am very much enjoying the look and practicality of this bin. It goes very well with our farmhouse yet minimalist theme. It is large enough that even our size family (and the amount of fresh fruits and vegetables we consume daily), we can usually last a whole day—or two—without having to empty it. The charcoal filters not only block smells, but they also keep pests from breeding in it.

Bought one because both my niece in her house and my nephew at camp have it. They love it. Works just as it says. Filters come out for simple washing. I love a product that does what it says. I don't compost, but it keeps odors away until contents discarded. Compost if you can!

I have been using this compost bucket for a month now and I can confirm that no smells are coming from it. I do tend to empty it in compost box every other week or so, or whenever is gets too full, but it's doing its job marvelously. No leaking either. Fits in a lot of small corners.

très bel aspect et pratique, et plus de moucherons comme avec la poubelle à déchets de cuisine, dont la grande contenance leur laisse trop de temps pour s'y développer. Celle ci on doit la vider assez souvent, plusieurs jours quand même, selon les déchets alimentaires produits, dans un sac de 20L, voir moins, donc plus de soucis, et sur la table et c'est plus pratique qu'en dessous aussi. Tres content de cet achat, de plus métallique, pas de casse en cas de chute, comme avec le précédent en céramique. tres satisfait de cet achat
