very good filter I am in a bortal 9 area this filter helps with that brings light pollution down to about 7 1/2 very good for the price it's a solid filter .

Let face it we are not NASA. Don’t need to spend every dime on the top of the line things unless u want to for a status symbol . This will serve you well under moderate light pollution I live in a bottle 6 skies and it gets rid of almost all of it. If you haven’t tried svbony before give them a chance. For being a “budget” brand they are really cranking out some high quality things over there. Keep it up

Bought one of these to help with light pollution in my Bortle 6 sky. It did help, somewhat. It seems to cut off the color blue. Very aggressive. Here is a photo I took with a 90mm achromat. No blue fringe. All photos seem to have a slight yellow cast.

Filter fit well and seemed sturdy but seemed to unevenly filter. On the one side of my images it created a heavy red tint, and in the center it shifted everything green. My advice is to spend a little more money and get a better brand.

Very happy with this filter! Great results with an unmodified DSLR (Canon 80d) right through moderate light pollution. Coatings are very bright and the housing is well made. You can't beat this CLS filter for the money!

I live in the suburbs of a big city at the edge of some farming areas under 5-6 bortle skies. I decided to purchase a filter to cut some of the light pollution in the sky so bought SVBONY CLS filter for my Seestar S50 telescope. I used the filter to photograph star clusters, galaxies, and nebulae. It worked ok for star clusters and galaxies, but for nebulae, it simply could not cut enough pollution to make them pop hence I could not notice any benefit to using them, I eventually came to realize that for nebulae, one would need a dual band filter!!!

Very decent filter for the price! When it comes to darkening light pollution, it does a decent enough job. It's also outstanding for defining nebulas, but where it is subpar is with face-on galaxies. The votes are visible but that's about it, side-on galaxies are fine though.

Excellent rapport qualité prix. Donne de bons résultats mais comme bien d'autres filtres, ne règle pas les problèmes que nous avons avec les lumières LCD en astrophotographie.
