The material is soft with no scatchiness, a little on the light side, which i like - but not thin enough to feel cheap. The hood is a generous size that actually warms your head and neck in cool breezy weather - plus I look like a badass when I wear it up. Lol I'm 5'11", about 200 pounds, and I bought the XL size. They're a perfect loose fit for me. I've worn/washed each shirt at least once so far and I notice very, very little shrinkage.
