DIED after only 5 months - Got a replacement; Exemplary customer service
FAILED after only 5 months!!!When it worked it worked well and i liked it. I had replaced my WaterPik with this as it could run on 110 or 240 volts make it great for travel PLUS it did not require a tank. You could just use a glass with the suction tube immersed into it.BUT all these features mean NOTHING if it stops working. I keep it in the charging base and the light shows that it is charging but it will no longer POWER ON. Seems to be either a problem in the power switch or the internal batteries have already died.UPDATE (May 2018) - UP Graded rating from 1 star to 3 Stars - contacted Jetpik who replaced the unit. The replacement, so far, works well. The seller is incredibly responsive. They sent a replacement after I emailed them my Amazon invoice and the SERIAL number from the defective unit. A replacement was sent w/o requiring me to send the defective unit first. I was provided a prepaid return shipping USPS label to send the defective unit back to Jetpik upon receipt of the replacement. The POST OFFICE delivered my replacement to the wrong address (attested by the post office who has GPS delivery records of where the package was delivered). I contacted Jetpik notifying them that I did not receive my replacement due to the errant USPS delivery and they very graciously sent a SECOND replacement unit!!! I thought it would be tough luck for me as it was NOT Jetpik's fault that the 1st replacement unit was mis-delivered. BIG KUDOS to Jetpik's customer service, particularly ROSA who handled both replacements.

Low pressure, disappointed all around
When I ordered the Jetpik I was sold by their description and some of the glowing reviews on Amazon. Earlier I have been using different models of Waterpik, eg. Waterpik WP100W and Waterpik Classic Professional Water Flosser, WP-72, I really liked them, but they only work on 110V and since I'm traveling a lot in Europe I was looking for a battery / rechargeable alternative with a 110/230V power supply. The Jetpik description sounded amazingly good, with a combination of water and floss action. Unfortunately the reality is that the design fails in every respect. The water pressure is so low that it is useless. There is a slider button that should adjust the water pressure, but it doesn't matter in which position the slider is, the pressure is equally low. The battery doesn't hold charge for more than one or two tanks of water and it takes more than 12 hours to charge the battery. I really tried to like the Jetpik, but it is useless. I finally gave up and went back to old school flossing and got a Panasonic EW-DJ10 oral irrigator, which is OK, but not as good as Waterpik. I really regret my Jetpik purchase.

Great product!
I rarely write product review unless I am really disappointed, so this is an exception. I LOVE this flosser. This was purchased to replace a traditional WaterPik. The tubing on the WaterPik that feeds into the reservoir had broken and could not be fixed, so my online research led me to the Jetpik. This is SO much better. I floss after every meal, which can sometimes be a little rough on the gums when pulling the floss through aggressively. This never happens with the Jetpik. It does a great job at blasting out food particles between teeth and around the gumline without irritating the gums. It is much quieter than the WaterPik, which sounded like a jet engine. The Jetpik can be taken along on trips in the handy travel case. This is a well-designed product that really gets the job done.

Great product on paper, actual product is always defective, no quality control.
I really wanted to like this product. When it worked, it was great. However this product should never be sold on Amazon or anywhere. There is absolutely no quality control associated with this product or company. I originally purchased a JP-51M in June 17 through Amazon. I liked the JP for ease of use and with the kit, was great to travel with. However within two months of using the JP-51M, the handle stopped sending water to the nozzle. I tried changing cartridges and replacing the nozzle with the same results. I contacted customer service who promptly sent me a replacement handle. It worked great for the first week, unfortunately by the second week on an out of town business trip, the same results, no water going through handle to nozzle. So I gave up and bought a portable WaterPik instead. The WaterPik is bigger and not nearly as travel friendly. Fast forward to today, April 2018. I decided to give it another try and purchased the JP-51 travel kit. After charging and setting it up, I tried to use it. The result this time was another failure. The nozzle will only stay in the handle under the lowest pressure setting. As much as I like the size and ease of use for travel purposes I would stay away from this product.

Perfect for travel.
This is a perfect size for travel. The case keeps everything organized. The set up is super easy, there is a tube that draws water from a glass or bottle. Much more hygienic than the ones that attach to the faucet. The jet pulses are strong, it is easy to use and worth the price.

The Jetpik travel water flosser is better than the Waterpik travel model
The Jetpik travel water flosser is better than the Waterpik travel model. I have tried both. The Waterpik travel flosser is less powerful than the Jetpik. The Waterpik has a built in tank that does not hold enough water to complete the job. The Jetpik has a pick-up hose that you put into a glass of water. You have plenty of water this way, and it works perfectly. The Jetpik also has a piece of floss inside the nozzle that extends through the end of the nozzle when it is running. This supposedly to provides better clean.
