Action Cut Board, Andoer Acrylic Film Clapboard Dry Erase Compact Size TV Film Movie Director Cut Action Scene Clapper Board Slate

Needed a portable slate, so I got this.Keep in mind the screws and nuts do loosen, but that's easily solved with Thread Locker.

The slate is perfect for what I needed - one I can take on shoots when I travel that will fit in my backpack with ease (I keep it in a spare PortaBrace stuff sack). The wooden clapper is sturdy and loud, and mine had none of the issues that I've seen some reviews mention (loose screws; smeared paint on the dry erase surface).

This is a disappointing product. The design and size is great but the acrylic board is defective. I wrote on it with a dry-erase marker and every time I wiped the writing, a smudge of ink would remain on the board. And even worse, the original writings that should remain on the board would be erased. I now have a board that is full of smudges and stains and I have to re-write "director/ production/ date/ take" to make sense of it. I was also told by the seller that I would get a replacement but I have yet to receive it and it's been over a year. I would look elsewhere for a quality product.

I purchased this and another slate at the same time becuase I wanted a smaller one to use in certain situations where a full size slate is too large. I will say this item is quality. The surface is slick and the lettering hasnt come off at all after several months. I have even left writing on this in a hot room over night and not had it stain. The surface is excellent.Now for the only reason this doesnt get 5 stars. The slates clap arm needs to be repeatedly tightened. I would recomend using some lock tight on the end and find the tightness you like becuase if it is loose at all it will come un done very easily.

I’ve been using this on a indie film and it has held up very well and the size is perfect for a pelican 1510. However you MUST clean off the slate everyday or it will start to stain and there is just no cleaning it off... Other then that it has been a great help keeping our kit small.

I was looking for a clapper that was small enough to carry with my Mavic mini. This is even smaller than it shows in the photograph, so that was a huge bonus. It fits into a small case, doesn’t take up a lot of room, and it’s great overall. Are use scotch hook and loop strips to attach a dryer race marker to the back and found some great magnetic Erasers that I’ve attached with adhesive metal plates used for cell phones. Takes up, allows me to sync audio, Mark frame speed, and just save a lot of headaches in post.

I have a regular slate - but sometimes I just need a small slate for a quick interview - without all the shooting details I need for a commercial. This is great - I slide it inside my audio bag and it's out of sight ... but there when I need it Sturdy - so no worries there. Watch the screw nuts on it - they will work loose with use... just hand tighten - but stay aware or you'll lose the nut.

De lo peor, no se borra, los parámetros de la edición los tuve que pegar con cinta, si estás leyendo esto. NO LO COMPRES esa cara que viene en la fotografía es lo que termine haciendo intentando borrar el producto. Primero usé un trapo, después un trapo húmedo, después un trapo con alcohol. Y por último usé un solvente. Ni siquiera pude terminar la primera secuencia de video cuando ya estaba manchado con pintura de agua.Lo peor es que no lo puedo regresar por qué despunte el producto.No lo recomiendo y no entiendo cómo AMAZON permite esta clase de productos basura en sus productos prime.

Todo bien con la claqueta sin embargo los tornillos no venían puestos sino sueltos. El empaque estaba muy mal, roto. Fue suerte que no se perdieran los tornillos
