Yes. It requires 8 “C” batteries

i can not answer this question because I am in an area where TV reception is poor, at best. I am on satellite TV because of that. I hope to use the TV feature when travelling.

It has a radio and TV. There is a switch that you move from radio to TV.

Plug and batteries. I haven't use batteries though.
