What fits in these, how they fit in a side-by-side fridge, and how they stack and nest:
A big ol' 2-pound block of cheese fits beautifully in this size (I am reviewing the 8.5 cup plastic rectangles) with a little room on the edge for those slivers of cheese that you still have left from your last block. If you were packing overstuffed sub-type sandwiches for a picnic, two would fit nicely (the size of sub rolls I buy, anyway)In a double-door style fridge, the modern style with those annoyingly narrow shelves? two of these fit perfectly side-by-side, endways. That is to say, if you slide the containers in so their ends face you, two will fit just right. No wasted space! They stack REALLY well on top of one another on your fridge shelf -- you don't have any worries they'll slip off one another, each bottom fits onto each top with a little protective ridge all around. So you can easily fit 4 stacked on each other, side by side, on just one fridge shelf and still have space behind them or in front of them for a full row of your pickle and mayo jars and such.I would feel confident stacking them three high, if I happened to have my fridge set up for a tall enough shelf. Then after a BIG meal your leftovers could go into 6 of these on just one shelf. It's astonishing how little space they take up for what they hold. When empty, yes, they do nest pretty well due to the taper, so if you have several they won't hog your cabinet space. They do add up though, they don't nest all the way down into each other. Allow about an extra inch for every container you add to your stack.Note however that the flappy-wing shape of the lids are a little awkward to store. Yes, the lids can stack on each other, but they definitely don't nest with the containers themselves. You might stack your containers on top of a stack of the upside-down lids -- but then the containers won't fit neatly into a small space in your cabinet. And you might worry about breaking the little flaps over time that way. So you might just need a different spot for the flappy lids, good luck! Mine are sitting inside a lasagna pan on a different shelf, which means no one but me knows where they are. Not ideal but oh well.Someone asked for actual *interior* measurements and the manufacturer ignored them. (Why the manufacturer doesn't put the dimensions right in their description is just silly isn't it?) Here you go:Depth = just over 2-1/2"LxW at the very bottom is right about 5x7, LxW at the top (just under lid) is 6-1/4 x 8-1/4These are the inside dimensions where the food goes, remember - Outside ones are bigger of course!

So far so good
This review is for the 10pc square Pyrex set.The product arrived undamaged (I'm amazed, ordering glass and ceramic type goods online makes me nervous). To be clear, this set contains 5 glass containers and 5 plastic, locking lids. I have only used one container and lid so far, so if anything changes I will try to remember to add an update. Anyways, I made cold pasta salad directly inside the glass container and then put the lid on and placed it inside the fridge to set overnight. Right out of the box, I noticed there is no Pyrex logo, neither engraved nor printed, on the glass. This bothers me somewhat, as all Pyrex items I have purchased throughout my life are marked as Pyrex on the item itself. Perhaps this is a licensing-type exception, I cannot say. Despite this minor hiccup in my experience, the product worked well enough for this purpose, and the pasta salad tasted like it should. Is the seal air-tight? Yes, but this may be due to added insulation provided by the coating of dressing between the glass and lid that was from when I mixed the salad inside it. Therefore, I also cannot confidently claim that these containers are leak proof, as I find it rather hard to believe I managed to uniformly coat the rim of the container during preparation. I wiped the rim with a clean towel before placing the leftover salad I did not eat back into the fridge (I can't eat a quart all at once haha). When I had my next serving, the rim had some moisture... presumably from condensation. There is no rubber or similar functioning gasket inside the lids. However, I have now finished the entire contents, it tasted good, and I'm still alive. This is great news. 😆I'm not sure how these hold up in the dishwasher. I hand washed mine, but the lid and container are still intact without chips, cracks, or warping of any sort. This is promising. 🙂As for the price of the set, I cannot even begin to guess what it would cost elsewhere, but I needed them right away so price was not an issue for me. (All of my bpa-free plastic storage of another brand had been destroyed when I accidentally set the dishwasher to high-temp cycle 😭)I don't use the oven very often, so I cannot speak on the matter of these containers being oven safe. I have an air fryer, but the glass would not fit inside in order for me to make use of them that way.In conclusion, I will stick to the review's title "so far so good", and I hope this was at least somewhat helpful to you.

Not microwave safe
I bought these for my mother for her meals. They melted in the microwave. We will not purchase again.Unfortunately, she didn’t tell me about this until today, 19-Feb-2023, roughly 3 months later.

Best Closing Container
The containers and lids fit together exceptionally well, allowing no drip messes. I like the fact these require a positive snap on on all four sides of the containers, even the round ones. I also like how sturdy each unit is - not like the flimsy plastic used by some competitors.

These are great!
I love the size and quality of these containers. You can put them in the microwave and dishwasher. I bought them to take food to my dad who lives in a retirement community. I wanted them to be microwaveable, sturdy, easy to open and close and inexpensive enough for him to toss in the trash after using if he didn’t want to wash them. I only wish it were possible to just buy all 8 oz containers.

Great for Arthritic Hands!
My daughter-in-law introduced me to these containers and I loved them! Very easy for me to open but they stay shut to protect freshness and prevent leaks. Bottoms are dishwasher and microwave safe. Tops may be too but I wash the tops by hand to be sure they aren't damaged. Some reviewers complained that containers in this set are too small but for my husband and me they're just right.

Lids are wonderful
I have spent way too much money on cheap plastic containers. These lids really close well I like it that they don’t leak. The one thing I have noticed is it when you do close the lids and you have something hot in there that you will have to lift the lid from the tab on the side. They wash up very nicely and I don’t have a dishwasher. They stack up well too.

Received 5 glass containers but only four lids
I love Snapware, and we already have several versions of these containers. When I opened the package, there were five glass containers but only four lids. So I will be returning these.

They last for many years!
I've had a set of these for many years, using them constantly, and finally ONE tab broke off of one lid, and that was my own fault! (I dropped it on the floor. and the lid is still useable even with one tab missing!). They HOLD UP to everyday use. They stack. They are dishwasher safe (I wash even the lids on the bottom rack of my dishwasher). HIGHLY recommended!!!

Love Snapware
Glass containers (no BPA in my food, thanks) with leak-proof lids are great for lunches, and Snapware is the best I've found. I bought a second set because the first ones were so good and lasted years. Lids last a bit longer if you hand wash, and tomato can stain (same as any plastic). Metal lids so they're fully recyclable (tiffin-style) would be great, but no manufacturer has those yet, so I can't complain. So why didn't I give 5 stars? Because the seller didn't send me 5 lunch-sized containers, as invoiced and shown in the photo; instead, they sent a different set which included 2 large freezer-sized containers. That's not what I ordered. I can't use those for lunch prep.

Clip snapped first use
We bought two packs of these to freeze our meats in to make them easier to thaw. One of the clips to close the containers snapped off after nothing but washing it once, the rest so far are holding together after first use.Not sure on whether they're leak proof, yet to try. Easy to clean as they can go in the dishwasher, and dry erase markers work great on them. Not sure whether to return 5 (so far) working containers for one broken one, but without the clip it doesn't close, so is essentially useless.

Excellent for meal prep
These are great if you do any meal prepping, all the same size and stack well, go in the dishwasher and the freezer. I now have several sets of these for my meal prep. They stack well when not in use so don't take up to much room.I have some slight staining on some of the ones I used for spaghetti, but it is minor and I have simply designated those as the spaghetti ones so I don't stain the remaining ones.
