Summer ready.
I have the white one for my bedroom to let light in for my plants. Got the black one for my office because it was way too hot from the heat. This thing really works. Bring on the summer!Easy to install. You can remove and readjust as much as you want just make sure to really spray the window good get rid of the bubbles ASAP

Easy and great looking!
Love it. First the ease of cutting, since its lined with a thin plastic my exacto knife cut through very precisely and easily. I cleaned my window with alcohol wipes first. Then sprayed window cleaner(more the better, this allows for the film to be adjusted easily). Adjust to window and trim off excess. I did measure my windows first but I wanted to make sure and over cut rather than cut exactly. I read a previous review that mentioned using a spatula to get rid of the bubbles and sure enough, just push them to the closest edge and gone. The small ones will disappear in a few days. It blocks out most of the sun and it looks great when the sun is out

Amazing!
It’s been soooo hot this summer and our master bedroom is upstairs and faces the sun all day long. We also live in an older home with the original windows so it’s difficult to keep the room cool during the day. We bought these and the room is much cooler and not so ridiculously bright, perfect for taking a daytime nap! If we shut the curtains the room is completely dark, I love it. Installation wasn’t hard, you just need a yardstick or something to measure and draw a straight line to cut or you can use an exacto knife. Spray lots of water on the window and it sticks right on, air bubbles scrape out easily with credit card. I definitely recommend! We got the gray one so it still lets some light in with the curtains open.

Perfect for DIY
Wonderful film and easy to work with! The glare from my living room window made it really hard to see the tv, but with this film it really darkens the room. I used it on my upstairs windows as well to reduce the heat in the rooms. Still lets in light but really reduced the heat coming in.

A step above a trailer trash fix that really works
This is a mixed review because the product is fine for what is advertised except for ease of usability. It is advertised as easy to install but in reality it is difficult to get right.I work retail and do a lot of installations using window cling. People say this item is thick but its really not that thick compared to many cling decals ive worked with before.Definitely recommend using either soapy water or windex for application as the surfactants in both with help with application and such. if it miss the placement or have stubborn bubbles, peel it back a little and add more of the solution to the window to give it more slip to work with.I dont not have a lot of personal experience with cutting edges as all the cling ive done before have precut edges that never reach the edges. This is maybe easier for some people but this was difficult to do and if you practice you could get good at it but for the cost of these, expect to mess up.Clings are also capable of "frankensteining" a bit to cover large spaces. So if you cant afford to replace a mess-up then just cut more to replace the gaps and repeat over the clings. So far overlapping is ok but will return later to update if the overlapping becomes an issue.Hasnt in the past with my other decal clings.Keeping dust from getting behind the clings is incredibly difficult and a little futile. The clings have a texture to them. they arent fully see through on the interior and does distort the images from outside. They are not scratch resistant. So far huge difference in the heat coming in through the windows. Truly the reason we bought these. But even the lighter colors block a lot of natural light. Not the end of the world in sunny los angeles! They definitely look cheap and if you can afford it, buy the UV coated windows in your house installation or pay a professional company to put similar window tints on. For the rest of us peasants in rentals... it'll do just fine!
