ACDelco Professional 252-544 Water Pump Kit

I installed this pump on my Mustang and it is working just fine. The quality is good and I would recommend this product.

This came quickly and was a nice replacement. Great fit and milling. Liked the metal gasket too.

Went right on fit perfect no leaks love it works great no complaints whatsoever

Overall a pretty good product. Bought for my 2007 Ford ranger 4.0. Only complaint is the gasket is flimsy and was a bit of a pain to keep in place when installing. End up ripping but was able to get a replacement gasket at a local auto store that worked better.

This was put in a mustang, it went in great and works as expected.

The pump is the quality you expect from AC DELCO and came with a metal pump gasket. I had not used a metal gasket before and was skeptical if it would leak. I noted the gasket had a raised center portion so when torqued evenly on installation it would crush to make a water tight seal. I recommend using the permatex High Tack on the pump & installing the gasket to the pump with the screws placed in the pump opposite of installation to hold the gasket correctly in place & applying a little downward weight until the tack dries enough to aid installation, then remove screws and gasket sticks to pump. Use one screw in most accessible pump hole and install. While holding pump install second screw an so on. Metal gasket works great.

This is the 4th water pump I’ve ordered in general that wasn’t scratched on the mating surface that could cause a leak. Came in great shape and it’s a metal gasket unlike the others that came with the flimsy cork gasket. Highly recommend replacing the thermostat as well since you’ll be removing parts to access the water pump might as well do it. It was $25 for me and I replaced the small rubber hose at the top of the pumpFor $9 at my local Autozone. Get the coolant off here my 2010 mustang took G05 coolant I got them for $12 a bottle an absolute steal. Also did a radiator replacement too. Also recommend getting new water pump bolts. One of my old one snapped in the block (luckily I got it out). So 12 bolts cost me $36 at the dealership because nowhere else sells these bolts. Only got a few miles in her so far but good seal, no leaks and car is at Norman operating temp. Will update when I have more miles on it. Currently at 174,050 ish miles.

Bought for 2006 ford explorer. Put on 2 months ago. No issues. No leaks. Easy install. So far so good.

No leaks, seal came in good condition, have to bleed the system to get air out, but is pumping fluid throughout the coolant system like a factory pump should do.
