is there any difference between this Flitz liquid polish and the Flitz paste polish?

I use both for removing age staining from carbon steel surfaces and find that I have better control over the amount I use if I use the paste. Both seem to do an equal job of stain removal. I have never used the liquid or the paste on any surfaces except brass and steel. Hope this is of some help.

So you can use this on a fiberglass boat and it wont damage the gel coat?

Yes ... Filtz works like a charm on fiberglass and will not damage the gel coat.

What's the difference between flitz & flitz lq?

Plain and simple it is the viscosity. Flitz in a tube form is a paste like consistency, while the Flitz liquid is more fluid in consistency. The end application makes the difference. You have to choose whether you prefer a paste or creamy liquid depending on what you plan to do with it. In the end, both products earn their stellar ratings. You will not be disappointed at the result from either one.

Does this product work to remove water spots from polished nickel?

Yes ... with vigorous elbow grease ... and I mean vigorous ... If your polished nickel is the size of jewelry ... then you can use Flitz with a tumbler and corn cob to get it to remove all stain and tarnish. For larger pieces ... I would recommend Barkeeper's Friend
