PyroFarms PyroDino 3-Pack bioluminescent Plankton 600ml

Arrived intact and dinoflagellates were still viable. Love these Dynos! With a three pack we had ample for nerding out! Make sure to get the food too. We've had ours for months now, and still lighting up at night. I got this as a gift for my teen son, but not gonna lie, I kept a bag for myself!

These glowing critters are great! I encountered them years ago in an old culture I found in a science instrument collection I purchased as a part of an estate, and those have lasted decades. This newer culture is going strong too, after more than 6 months it is brighter than it was originally. They do outgrow their bag, so I’ve been periodically giving them away to friends and refreshing the dinonutrients periodically. They seem to thrive in a broader range of conditions than the care guide suggests, so don’t be afraid to give them a try!

Been trying to grow this stuff for a week have it on a light schedule like they say to and nothing can't tell if it's just water or dinos I'll give a few more weeks to see if any changes but I don't think there will be

This batch did not have many bioluminescent plankton. Disappointing

You can only do it at night but it’s rad.
