Seems solid
Only dove with this once, but it’s watertight and it works. Construction feels sturdy, buttons are good. Got some great footage with my X5!

Impressive underwater features
I love my Insta360 and use it for everything from travel shots to underwater discoveries, so the completely invisible design of this dive case allows for stunning full 360° underwater shots, ideal for capturing my adventures while diving and snorkeling. I appreciate the thoughtful inclusion of fog protectors, which I used on both sides of the case during my recent diving trip. This feature ensured that my footage was clear and vibrant, without any distracting fogging. Plus, with its impressive waterproof capabilities up to 60 meters (197 feet), I felt confident exploring deeper underwater environments without worrying about damaging my camera. The lens material of the case is another standout feature. Made from optical imaging tempered glass, it boasts a light transmittance of over 98%, providing crystal-clear visuals without distortion. I noticed that my underwater videos captured every detail of the marine life around me while maintaining exceptional image quality. Additionally, the protective qualities of the case provided peace of mind, safeguarding my camera from potential drops and collisions. Overall, the Insta 360 X5 Invisible Dive Case has exceeded my expectations, enhancing my underwater shooting experience and allowing me to create unforgettable memories in stunning 360° detail.

Seems to work just fine in both salt and fresh water
I got this for a friend who won a free X5 camera in a raffle and was worried he was gonna damage it. So far it's held up very well. My buddy is an avid cyclist and this thing has survived at least a few drops from his bike with no ill-effect. His kids also tested it out in both salt and freshwater and it held up to kid shenanigans as well. It fits the camera snugly, so you've gotta make sure you pull off any other lens protectors or filters that you're using before closing it up. It seems to record everything just fine with no perceptible impact on picture quality. So yeah, in summary, it's functional and works just fine to protect your precious overpriced X5 camera lol.

An expensive disappointment
Image quality is terrible and the soft plastic is impossible to keep from getting scratched. No such thing as a sharp image with this case. Everything is “soft” and even blurry. After a few dives it is not worth taking it down anymore. Imagery is unusable.

Nice dive case for your Insta360 x4/x5
This dive case allows me to use my Insta360 x5 in deeper depths. Since the Insta360 is already waterproof up to 15m (45 ft), I don't go that deep very often unless I'm scuba diving. However, this gives me additional insurance. Overall, the case fits my x5 well. Buttons and screen align well. The casing is tight and the moisture paper is great to reduce any condensation. It also fits with my lens guard on which is nice. As for the image, I've tested (video to upload later) and it's fine. Since it is a polycarbonate material, it's easy to scratch the case. You have be careful to not scratch the case so that you don't get blurred images. When not using, keep it stored in the soft cloth sack. As for comments about reflection, it is because you actually need to put it in water, not just on land. The case will cause reflection if it's not underwater. If it is filmed underwater, the internal reflection goes away. As for buoyancy, this is to be expected as it is plastic and there is an air pocket. You can't avoid that but I'd recommend using a hand strap with the stick. Hope this helps.

Well built and packaged
This is a very well made dive case and based on the other reviews, it works well in practice. It arrives in a nice foam box that protects it well and includes a carrying bag. It's robust and well built. While it's pricey, the overall high quality makes it a fairly decent value.

Clean video
I got this camera for our pool and simple diving in a nearby lake and this works great. The images and video looks nice and clear. The case keeps the water out, so it protects my camera getting damaged or scratched up and keeps it from getting nasty from the lake water. This is very protective and simple to use. Great product, but I think the price is a little high. Whether or not it is worth the price will be up to you, but it is a good product.

Possible reflection issue within the case under certain conditions; leak proof so far
I'll provide an update on this after a trip to Hawaii in November. I've done some leakage tests with this so far where I just close the case and submerge it under water without my camera. So far, it seems to have held up fine with no leakages thus far. Upon trying it with the camera and recording a video, I do have the issue where in the videos, at times you can see the inside of the cover (the reflection). I think this has more to do with the quality of the material but also the fitment; if there's too much space between the lens and the actual cover, this is what results. I'll most likely bring another case as well to test side by side, just in case one gives out or if the reflection issue is worse in some situations.
