Review: Best Hydrangeas Ever 💙 - What a gorgeous start to season 3!!! Purchased three from same aeller in April 2023 and third season is a WOW!!! Thank goodness I have more than one!! my biggest regret is not giving them much more room but I had no idea they’d be this ginormous! I was just hoping I didnt kill it like I bought at Home Depot for double the price. Propogating lovely, each has a few. plenty of hanging and healthy branches & some already buried and forming new plants! Even tiny clippings are rooting and propogating!! Anytime something comes off by accident I give it a try before tossing. Im ecstatic with 80% success rate growing roots too! I used rooting powder. I’m including pics of the other two hydrangeas and the clippings and what I used. Dont even think twice about buying these! Buy more than one!! THE last two pics are a month after planting 5/7/23. 1. Give more space than I did! 2. Water plenty. 3. HATES super direct all day sun, so I give one of mine an umbrella after 1pm because I got that wrong re: placement too and it got seriously burned last season. Yes, the 1st plant in pics! Recovered in no time and came back better and bigger!! Also use Jacks Hydrangea Blue but only a couple treatments early in season. If. they turn purple ill live. ( If Jack’s container was a little larger maybe I’d use it all season. Cant seem to find bigger than 1.5 lbs and thats about 2.5 treatments. a little sulphur mixed in top soil as well because Im Blue/purple /obsessed. I hope these are still available for anyone looking to start with Hydrangeas. Easy success 👍
Review: Beautiful - Read instructions for care - The plant was in great condition. I've never been able to keep an endless summer hydragea alive. I think I was planting them in too much sun and not watering enough. I have a shady spot I put this guy in that gets just a little morning light. It's on the north side of my house. I waited 3 days to plant while watering diligently and brought the plant outside for longer periods each day. The day I planted, I watered it thoroughly and submerged the pot (not the leaves) in a large bucket water for 1 hour prior to planning. Saw that on tiktok gardening account. I dug a hole 3xs the size of the pot. I filled the hole with water and waited an hour for water to drain. I then took the plant out of water bucket. I watered the pot with a transplant fertilzer diluted in water per instructions. I gently pulled apart some of the outside roots, making sure all were soaked with the fertilizer solution. I then placed in the hole and filled the hole with garden soil for flowers and vegetables from lowes. (Threw out the clay soil i dug out of the hole). Lightly watered after planting and set up a soaker hose. The next day I watered for 30 min with the soaker hose. The soaker hose just needs 1 section in a straight line near the base of the plant, it does not need to surround the plant. I water with the soaker hose 2 or 3 times a week for 30 min. The hotter the outside temp, the more frequent you will water. The leaves on the plant will start to look pretty sad and wilty when the plant needs more water. Some people have to water these hydrangeas daily all season but the transplant fertilizer will help the roots grow further down and the soaker hose ensures a good deep water. (Meaning you can water less if the roots are strong) If it's above 95, you will need a good deep water at minimum 3xs a week and you'll need to supplement daily watering if the plant looks wilty. These guys drink a ton and they don't like full sun at all, they will die. They don't like any afternoon sun. If you water straight from the hose, expect to water daily for awhile. I've learned through killing a few of these in the past but I collected all these tips before I bought this one and so far it's working. I don't expect blooms until the spring and I planted at the worst time possible in the middle of summer. But I'm just excited this guy likes his spot, he's happy and is the longest I've ever had a happy endless summer hydragea. I really just want to focus on root growth so that I can have a healthy blooming plant in the spring. I'm sharing my tips I've learned from other hydrangea lovers so that you guys can also enjoy these beautiful plants. Extra tip: I spray with neem oil once a week for fungus and bugs. Its a good preventative. Don't water the leaves, they are prone to fungus. Water the base of the plant.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Healthy looking hydrangeas
*by K***R on April 12, 2025*

I ordered 4 of the 2 gallon hydrangeas and the delivery was good. 1 box had 2 plants inside both plants were upright. The second box 1 plant was upright and the other was laying down side to side. Luckily the plants had planter plastic wrapped around pot with zip ties to hold the plastic so the dirt would not fall out. All 4 plants were green and healthy looking and some small flower buds were present! The soil was moist and ready to plant! Quality looks amazing and can’t wait to see how they bloom and looking forward to an outstanding growth rate of 3-5’ since we are in zone 9! I would definitely buy again from this seller, but would recommend making sure that when two plants are ordered to make sure they are side by side in the box.
