A simple offer of legal advice turns into the biggest challenge of Claire Darrow s legal career when her new beau, District Attorney Miles Strasberg, introduces her to his younger half-sister, Phoebe. A singer who has just completed her first album, Phoebe fears that she may have signed away her rights to her ex-producer, who is threatening to destroy the recordings. When the producer is found dead in his studio, police find evidence and motive enough to arrest Phoebe. Though Claire has never tried a murder case, Miles can t imagine trusting his beloved sibling s fate to anyone else. Working side by side with Miles, Claire sets out to uncover the truth behind the crime.

Reminds me of the great shows from the past.
I have loved Kimberly Williams as an actress since Father of the Bride, Lucky Seven, and Hallmark's Follow the Stars Home. I was so excited to see her come back to Hallmark. This movie was her character's first murder case. It reminded me of the good days when Matlock and the Perry Mason Movies were on TV. I hope they make many more for as long as Garage Sale Mysteries has been on. Great Cast!!!!!

Excellent - One for the family
The movie shows that it's possible to do a murder mystery without all the blood & gory details. This is the 2nd of what looks to be 3 released DVD's with the same characters. The chemistry between Cavanagh & Williams-Paisley is in full force now. I hope that there are more movies to this series, in fact I wish it were a TV series.

Great Family Movie
I love Hallmark movies! I worked there for 25 years, so I'm very partial to them. I love the fact I can always watch them with my kids and grandkids (who enjoy them as well). I also enjoy the happy endings. Also, the humor and actors are amazing in this series!

A very well done mystery
This is the second movie in the Darrow and Darrow series. Once again, we really enjoyed the story and how well done it was. As with the first story, this is about a law firm with Claire Darrow (Kimberly Williams-Paisley) as the head lawyer and their attempt to clear a client of the accusation of murder. The accused is the younger sister of Claire's friend, DA Miles Strasberg. The story is very interesting and engaging. The acting is done well, especially by Wendy Malick who plays the part of Claire's ambitious mother. The dialogue is amazing, witty and fun, sprinkled with humour that balances the serious topic of the law and murder. A budding romance brings another aspect to soften the story. The plot was very interesting, weaving into the story of how the law firm worked together to bring justice, the down-to-earth relationships in the personal lives of the characters. There was one slight goof in the dialogue that I caught, but it didn't affect the story enough to be a real concern. I recommend this to viewers who appreciate a good mystery (with a surprise ending) and a movie with no sex, no profanity and no overt violence.
