Vanna's Afghans A to Z: 52 Crochet Favorites

A great book for beginners. I recommend this product.

Bought as a used book. Wanting to complete my older 'Vanna' crochet books and this worked well for that.

Several of these patterns bring back childhood memories. But the best was Tickle the Ivories. My grand daughter is an avid cellist. She turned 16 this past April. I put the notes from the Sound of Music song "I am Sixteen, Going on Seventeen" on the afghan. I will be giving it to her this weekend because she was chosen to go to the University of Ind. this summer and I wanted her to have it. I live in LA and she lives in Dallas so this is my chance to give it to her. This book has so many many ideas for my grand children I hope I live long enough to make all the ones I want to. Some cute stuff in this book. I just wish they stated what level of difficulty each pattern is. Or grouped by level of difficulty...

Yes I love this book! My original paperback of this book is close to 23 years old & falling apart. Ive made so many of the Afghans over & over again! I highly recommend it!!

I'm already almost finished with one afghan, and I'm looking through the book for another.

I have to say that although the book is well produced it did not excite me as much as some I have.I have only made 2 from it and found it disapointing.If you are looking for a book to give insperation for your own designs then this might not be the one for you
