Good for certain uses
I find Leatherique to have almost a "cult" following on certain car enthusiast blog and forums, so I figured I'd give it a try.I own a classic Mercedes SL, and although the leather is in fairly good condition, it's starting to show it's age. As suggested by others in here, I carefully applied the oil, let it sit for a few hours, then worked it off with the Pristine Clean. It came out notably cleaner, without that "old leather haze". I have to say that the leather in my Benz hasn't looked this good in many years, and for that alone, I'd give this product five stars. Same great results on the seats, the dash (also leather on my car), the steering wheel, etc.Unlike ArmorAll-type products, there's no artificial, waxy surface coating - just the native leather brought out and clarified. The product is almost unscented as well, so it doesn't leave any heavy aroma in your car - a big plus versus some competing products. However, there's one small word of caution I'd offer. On some cars, the leather is more like a "belting" leather...a thick, heavy leather brought to a smooth surface but not a shine. I'm lucky enough to own a brand new Porsche (I know, it's great to be me!), and most of the leather in the car is like this. Although I'm sure Leatherique would breathe life into an older finish, Leatherique wouldn't be my first choice for my new and smooth (but not shiny) interior as I'd be afraid it would alter the original look somewhat. Because of this, I'd really recommend trying this product on a sample of the same type of leather before committing to it all the way. While it's a fine product, it might not give you the finished surface you're expecting. To be clear, you might *prefer* the Leatherique look - it's just a matter of taste, but you should know what you're getting into. That aside, this is definitely a top quality product worthy of your finest leathers.

Excellent leather cleaner and conditioner
This may be the best product on the market today! Expensive, yes, but I think well worth the price. i use it on the car seats leather upholstery of both my 10 yrs old cars with great results.

Does not work at all on cream colored leather
I followed all instructions, it did not clean my off-white leather BMW seats at all. I could have used a wet rag and obtained the same result

Transformed the Interior
This is a wonderful product. We first tried it on our 2004 Accord that had spent it's life up until 2013 in Phoenix (which if you are not aware is a touch on the dry side...). The leather interior was stiff in areas. The driver side bolster looked very cracked and looked like the dye was worn off. After the treatment, it became clear that the driver's bolster was actually fully dyed - we just took all of the dirt off. The dirt in the wrinkles of the leather made it look like it was cracked when it was not. They "disapeared". In the areas where there actually is some cracking, they look much better now. My g/f (this is her car) was really thankful/appreciative that we did this to her car. She felt so much better having such a new looking interior. Our only regret on the Accord is that we only waited 3 hours - I have learned to put this on the morning and really let the car heat up during the full course of a day on my other cars. Her car was the guinea pig. I've done my exotics and daily drivers since this car.The other products I tested...I hate naming names because I really respect the high-end companies that are making products that are better than the stuff you'll find on every shelf in every auto-parts store. I used 2 other boutique/high quality products and they were really good at cleaning but the conditioning - dare I say transformation that I get with Leatherique was just not there.

Did not perform as described
I purchased several leatherique leather and vinyl restoration and cleaning products to use on my vintage Mercedes. After finding that their leather and vinyl dye is not actually a dye but more akin to a paint applied to the surface of the leather or vinyl, I scraped it off both my steering wheel and dashboard and complained to the vendor. I received an email back from a person claiming to be the owner stating that the unacceptable results I got from their products were my fault, not the fault of his products. I carefully followed all instructions and purchased and applied all the preparitory products recommended in the instructions. I cannot recommend this company's products or their customer service.
