It's a cuisanart for your pipes
Shredded right through my clogs.. Handled fat and grease like a champ and just chewed everything in its path including some light root intrusion like it was nothing. pipes are clear and flowing nicely.. it looks unassuming at first and feels like it wont do much. but the way the edges are sharpened is misleading.. the edges are sharp but are angled in a way not to damage pipes, but work well when obstructed and caught on roots.. overall it looks like something that would pass for a weapon on MadMax. I approve.

Great cutter!
This will power through virtually anything it encounters. Its self sharpening design is effective. It worked where the auger style borer failed. Definitely worth the price. I used a little blue thread locker on the screw to hold it in place because you would not want to lose this in the pipe. I read on one of the forums that if you're not careful you can get this embedded in the blockage and get it stuck. I did not have that problem but just to be sure I would bore a few inches in then back it out before going in again. This is probably better than doing it all in one go. Using a pilot hole through the blockage with a smaller diameter head will probably also reduce the chance of getting the larger head stuck.

Sharp, works as describled..
Had a lot of dirt, DE and small roots in a four inch drain line. Ran water in the drain line while using the drain snake with a spade bit that was supplied with the machine. Keep running into roots every three to four feet. Using the Pipe Cleaner when hitting the roots, backed it off a few inches. Then driving it forward. After a hour or so I was able to move the Pipe Cleaner thru the line 75FT to the end. Great tool. Then I had purchared a 100FT Sewer Jetter Kit for Pressure Washer.. Used this to clean out all the debris and sand. DE, and dirt. That took the rest of the day. But was able to run two garden hoses at the same time in the drain line. I never had a problem with the water flow. Should have done this years ago.

You need this
Bought this a little while back used under the bathroom sink and the main drain out front really helps in getting around corners Make sure you pay attention to pipe diameter although this worked quite well I wish I had bought a bigger one

Tears through any clog
This is the only cutter I use on my 75 ft. sewer snake now. While other cutters have either bent or were ineffective, this thing has been awesome!

Changed my life! 10 stars!!!
I have the worst cast iron pipe situation. My drain has been clogged for over a month. I bought a $300 snake, didn’t work. I bought another $100 handheld drill powered auger, also didn’t work. I bought a camera for the pipe, but couldn’t get it down far enough to where the clog was. I tried every chemical/enzyme you could imagine, for days and days, also didn’t work. I’ve been beat up. I don’t trust plumbers. One plumber wanted over $500 to come snake and camera the drain. I had already spent as much on all of the above. This has been eating me up inside. I know a repipe job is probably inevitable, but I’m not financially prepared for that. I’ve been so depressed. Can’t use my sink, so I don’t eat right, and wasting too much time trying all different kinds of things. This heavy duty auger bit just arrived an hour ago. I hooked it up to my $300 1/2” 100ft. snake and PRESTO!!! Took a little work near where the clog was. I was patient though. Just kept spinning. Let it get through that clog. Suddenly the snake went further in than I had ever gotten it before. Had it passed the clog? I pulled out the snake and the bit was covered in gunk. I poured a 5 gallon bucket into the sink. SUCCESS!! Another 5 gallons. SUCCESS! Another 5! SUCCESS! I think I’m gonna cry right now. This bit changed my life. PS: if you live in the vegas area, I’ll snake your drain for $200. Just kidding. I hope my snaking days are behind me for a while. I’m praying for you right now though. These situations suck!!!!! People take their flowing drains for granted.

This is a real game changer
This is a pipe auger/snake attachment for clearing drains. I bit the bullet and bought powered drain auger earlier this year from Amazon which came with several bits but I still had some problems. I’m very pleased with the auger and will leave a review for it later but this bit was a real game changer. I hated putting out the money for this as it seemed expensive at the time, but once you get the knack of using the power auger and this bit, life will be a lot easier. The bit is a heavy steel, a bit larger than a golf ball and the groves and points in and on it are sharp. It's not sharp enough to cut you but sharp enough to catch on a stubborn root or other obstruction. It made passing through bends and turns in the pipe a lot easier, too. This may not be the only auger bit you’ll ever need but it surely will come close. It depends on the state of your pipes, but if you have to clean out roots every 18 months or so, it’ll pay for its self the first time you use it.
