Excellent earbuds! The sound quality is superb with rich bass and clear vocals. Call quality is crystal clear, and the noise cancellation works really well, even in noisy environments. The earbuds fit securely in the ears, are very lightweight, and remain comfortable even after long use. The companion app offers plenty of customization options to personalize the listening experience. One of my favorite features is the dual-device connectivity—I can connect them to both my phone and laptop at the same time, making it easy to switch between personal calls and office meetings without any hassle. Overall, an excellent product with great performance, comfort, and value for money. Highly recommended!

I’ve been using the OnePlus Buds 4 for around one year, and overall I’m very satisfied with them. The sound quality is clear and enjoyable, and the earbuds have been reliable for daily use. The fit is comfortable, and the charging case is compact and convenient to carry. After one year of regular use, they are still working well without any major issues. Battery performance has also been good for my usage. The build quality feels solid, and the overall experience has been smooth. Overall, a great pair of TWS earbuds for everyday use. Update 2: Finally achieved very good sound profile when I enabled dolby Atmos in my mobile. That pretty much solved all my issues with sound profile not being rich. So if anyone is having such an issue then enable dolby Atmos in your cellphone if your phone supports it. Then play with Equalizer a bit to get incredibly rich and balanced output. Otherwise I won't recommend this. Better get a bud for 1500 bucks. The sound of that won't be any inferior to this without dolby Atmos support. Update1: Sound Profile: Initially I thought the default sound profile was balanced but then I heard some of my favourite songs and the default profile is definitely bass heavy, not at all my kind of sound. I like balanced. I installed heymelody app for this bud and tweked the sound essentially lowered the bass substantially and increased the mid and high frequencies. Bass is still good but the overall sound signature became balanced. Now it's much much better. Noise cancellation: The noise cancellation is quite good and sometimes I do go in that mode especially in high noisy area and it's brilliant in that situation. Otherwise I disable it. Fit: Fit is very good for my ears so no issues there. Battery: The battery backup i have not measured but is substantial that I haven't noticed anything peculiar. Should be in the ballpark figure of what's claimed. Orginal post: It is a decent ear buds. I have never used noise cancelling earbuds and this is my first one. I was always doubtful if I enjoy it, and that seems to be the case. Noise cancellation is a bit uncomfortable (not the buds, they are a good fit). I felt uneasy, so I disabled noise cancellation and now it's fine. As far as the sound signature is concerned, it is good. Decent balanced sound output. Nothing bad, nothing exceptional. Connectivity wise there is no problem. I have not checked the range but it shouldn't be a problem for normal use case. Call quality over phone is good but I have not checked in outdoor condition. The earbuds are decent fit, I haven't had any issue with fit. Overall, a decent buy for the price.

The highlight feature is Golden Sound once you complete the ear scan and setup, the audio becomes noticeably personalized and immersive. The sound feels fuller and more engaging, to the point where you can actually feel the music. What makes this feature even better is that it works across any device, not just OnePlus phones, which is a big advantage over many ecosystem-locked competitors. The Active Noise Cancellation is genuinely effective for everyday use, handling background noise well without feeling artificial. Battery life has also been reliable: the earbuds provide around 5–6 hours of continuous playback, and the charging case offers approximately 4–6 full recharges, making it easy to get through a full day or more without worry. The build quality is durable to a reasonable extent, though rough use especially with the black variant can lead to visible scratches. My unit is the black color, which looks very dignified, remains lightweight, and is easy to carry without feeling bulky. I had the goated oppo enco air 3 pro, they got stolen and then I had purchased these at 4.7k after doing some research. It has been almost a month so here's my review: TLDR: Everything is great apart from tuning-- it sucks! I had to spend so much time tuning them to overcome their muddy bassy sound output and get the sound signature I require that I'll deduct a point specifically for that. They have responsive DACs so once I tuned them I really enjoyed the sound imaging and clarity these presented. Pros: 1. ANC (all the modes are useful) 2. Call quality (no complaints) 3. Dual device connectivity (a minor setback here is you'll have to manually pause the current device's playback to switch to other) 4. Battery life works well (I use 4-5hrs/day and I charge 1-2 times a week) 5. Sounds imaging and clarity 6. Responsive towards custom EQ 7. Build quality feels premium 8. Touch controls are good Cons: 1. Tuning: the stock tuning is a muddy bassy sound, it misses the mids altogether. You can cover up mids to some degree using hey melody app's custom EQ. But it will still sound muddy. I have spent more than 20 hours playing around with different EQs. Here's what works for me: 1. Turn on golden sound (tunes the buds wrt your ears) 2. Turn on 3d sound (opens up the sound stage) 3. Keep the inbuilt EQ of hey melody completely flat. 4. Install wavelet, and tune the output by increasing the mids(refer to attached image) This tuning works well for most songs and you can play around if you want. So overall, after tuning these buds they become almost perfect and I am happy with them.
