Heinkel HE 111 WW11 world war 2 aircraft 1:144 scale diecast model

Review by my son (age 8): My mum bought this plane for me and I played with it lots. Its propellers did not turn but it made no difference to the model. I thought it was great in every way. The stand was nice and it looks amazing on my window still. Overall, a nice plane and I would recommend it to anyone who likes planes.

Just perfect to my collection

Heinkel He-111 P-4 Belonging to 6./II/KG 4 Aircraft Ident. No.5J+JP.Crew OBLT. Hans Schroder (Pilot). UFFZ Franz Reitz (Observer). OGFR Rudolf Marten (Wireless Operator). GEFR Josef Wich (Mechanic)Caught by searchlights Sept. 5th 1940 and shot down by British AA Fire from Grangetown AA Battery,Ryhope Rd,Sunderland.Aircraft lost tail before crashing in flames on 55 Suffolk St. Sunderland,County Durham at 23:18 hrs.All four crew were killed.Ground casualties were Mrs Rachel Stormont (killed). Mr John Stormont (Injured). And their 15 yr old daughter who sustained seriousinjuries losing both hands in the incident. Injuries caused by burning fuel and falling masonry.As for the replica. Not bad. Its about the same size as the Daron/Model Power bombers (B-17,Lancaster etc).The top bubble turret machine gun seems a tad large but its not to bad. Overall a nice model and worth picking up.

Model isn’t the best I’ve seen for the price, propellers aren’t moveable and my model seemed poorly put together, mine arrived with a slightly damaged propeller too. I was building a collection for my son but won’t be using this model.

One of the propellers was broken in the box, which spolit the whole thing for me as it was a present for my grandson. Otherwise the model was good.
