THIS SKORT IS AWESOME! Now
Okay folks, I've been struggling with the issue of chafing - regardless of using Body Glide, vaseline, whatever. So, I figured I need to ditch the short shorts and find something longer and that was fitted. THIS SKORT IS AWESOME! Now, I went for a 2 and half hour run the other day and the minimal chafing was at the bottom of the short and I have remedied that issue with the vaseline. With that being said, I unfortunately also sweat quite a bit (yes, legs included) so this may not be an issue for some. I have found that sizing varies from one skort to another (yes, frustrating). I got a small in the black and it is perfect but the small in the enchanted print was way too small. Weird. It also appears to be a little cheap at first glance but after tripping on a stump on my trail run and literally sliding down the trail on my thigh, I was thrilled to find that my skort held up perfectly. Just ordered a second - I LOVE this for running. Good luck! Aroo!

Not that great for the money
If this skirt had cost $20, I would give it 4 stars. $65 is a bit pricey for what you get. The only reason I tried this out is because I got it on sale for $35. I wore this for a 5 mile treadmill run (too cold to wear it outside yet) and it did okay. Despite there being two layers of fabric and the heat being cranked up in the gym, I felt like I had good freedom of movement and good ventilation with the fabric. The fabric is soft and comfortable, and the inner seams are flat so there is no chafing. However, the liner shorts rode up a little bit (I've experienced much worse) and the bottom hem of the liner chafed my legs a little. I have had this issue with every pair of shorts ever, so it's probably just me and not the shorts. However, I was hoping to spend a little more on a better product to find a solution, but that was not the case. If you have that issue, don't buy these. If you don't currently have a problem with shorts riding up, you could give these a try. They are comfortable for the first few miles.

beware of phone pocket size
I have purchased 4 of these skirts. Two I just love, two not so much. The first two were perfect, pockets big enough for a phone and even my reading glasses. The fit was good and the colors just as promised. The third "pink" one is not really pink but some salmon/red color with very tiny pockets. I figured this was fair because it was on sale and probably a mistake. I just ordered my 4th full price black skirt. The pockets are barely big enough to hold an iPhone 7, and even then, the phone sticks out of the top. I ordered this because I am going out of country and thought it would be great for travel, could even carry passport hidden. NOPE. I called the SkirtSport customer service number 4 times yesterday and left two messages. No response. I was going to ask if these tiny pockets are the norm, and if so will not order another. Not sure I will keep this skirt.

Perfect for tennis!
I love this sports skirt. I've tried a few other skorts/tennis skirts, and this has worked the best for me. Unlike some tennis skirts, I did not want one too short. This was the perfect length for me (size medium; I'm 5'6 and 140 lbs). I've played in it and it's very comfortable. It was a little more than I wanted to spend but it's of excellent quality, the lining seems to have a tummy control feature, but not too tight; feels really good. I was easily able to hold my extra tennis ball in the bike short leg (didn't use either of the two inner pockets). And the skirt has just enough flare for me; of all the skirts I've tried, I found this one to be the most flattering for me.

running skirt that doesn't ride up
I really love this skirt. I'm not a skirt person at all but was looking for something that didn't ride up while I was running. I'm a distance runner and my thighs get raw after awhile if I'm not wearing pants. I live in the desert so I can't wear pants in the summer. I've only done a short run (about 5k) so far but it didn't ride up at all. The pockets actually hold my phone snugly. Once I try it on a longer race, I'll be buying another if it works the same. Well worth the money. I got a small. I'm 5' 3", 135 lbs. Fit prefectly. I have big thighs and it wasn't too tight. Comes about half way down my thigh so great length as well. Doesn't let my thighs rub together but I don't look like a hobbit.

What's not to love??
I do a lot of outdoor activities and these are my go-to bottoms in warm weather, whether I'm hiking, sailing, running, cycling or just hanging about. They are very flattering and versatile. I have them in a few different patterns and both lengths and love them all! The built-in compression shorts are fabulous - they protect against chafing while simultaneously making your profile slimmer. I can fit a large phone (iPhone 7 Plus) in the pockets comfortably. I've even worn these with a nice top about town. They travel well and still look new after several washes (I only use cold water wash and line dry). It's wonderful to be able to look athletic *and* feminine at the same time! What's not to love??

Feels a little big
I'm usually at the smaller end of the medium size range in Skirt Sports bottoms (28" waist, 39" hips for reference). I got the medium, but in retrospect should have gone with the small instead. The skirt is comfortable, but anytime I put my phone in the leg pockets, the weight is enough to drag the skirt down until you're running with saggy butt shorts. Since there is no drawstring at the waist, you're dependent entirely on the tightness of the garment to hold it up. If you're between sizes, or considering sizing up for comfort, go with the smaller size instead.

Love these!!!!!
Absolutely darling skort. It's flattering and stylish. It falls to mid-thigh which is exactly what I wanted. The waistband is below the bellybutton so it's very comfortable. It fits as expected. The shorts compress just enough that I am not constantly pulling them back into place. And there is a small pocket on the thigh for your iPod with a subtle hole for the earbud cord. They come in multiple different colors and prints. The price was more affordable when I bought them in June but I'm thinking of buying another pair. Comfortable, stylish and versatile. Highly recommend.
