About how many services will this last? My puppy is an 8 month old golden retriever, and is a growing 43 lbs.

I give this to four 20 lb dogs twice daily for a total of the recommended 1/2 t per dog and the one-pound jar lasts me about two months. It would last you a lot longer with one dog!

How many mg of ascorbic acid does this contain? i have been instructed to give my dog 500 mg of ascorbic acid. thank you.

The label only says that 1/8 teaspoon has 625 mg of Cran Tri-C....the product...it does not specify how many mg of actual ascorbic acid per teaspoon, etc. Only when you read the guaranteed analysis, do you get the real answer: an entire POUND has 27, 273 mg of Vitamin C. This is only an 8 ounce container. The entire container has 16, 636.5 mg of Vitamin C. Each ounce only has 2079 mg of Vitamin C. Per serving, it has a LOT less Vitamin C, because of the coconut flour as a filler, than one thinks. One can buy ascorbic acid powder or sodium ascorbate powder without the coconut flour as a filler and get more vitamin C per serving for less money!
