Worked will on my project with the right wire size and hole size. Crimped well then soldered wire in and they are good. They are thick enough, are durable enough, function as designed and easy to work with. Made professional ends that go on cables made for starter connections and the shrink tubing is icing on the cake.

These worked really well and produced a good crimp with a crimper. I went through an entire pack of these on an upgrade to my solar battery system and so far they seem to be performing well.

I had to buy these because I have a 2011 Ford Mustang where a bad battery released acid that ate through the stock positive terminal. Since Ford no longer makes this part (nor does anyone else), I had to fabricate a replacement, and that meant changing a crimped starter motor terminal to a lug. Since I don't like crimping large cables and prefer to solder them on, I broke out the heavy-duty solder gun, a propane torch, PbSn solder, and a bottle of flux. The starter cable went into the lug easily, and it all soldered up nicely. The kit contained a bit of heat-shrink tubing, so I tidied everything up with that on the end and connected it to my fabricated terminal. That was a few thousand miles ago, and it's all going down the road just fine.
