Works great for 2 doses per day too!
This is a brilliant product. I searched everywhere with no luck for something that was multi-week, but only with spaces for 2 doses per day. I thought I would try this and I'm glad that I did. I use the bottom 3 compartments for each of my morning medications, then put all the the night time ones in the top one. That one is labelled "Night", if I get confused. The middle compartments labelled "Afternoon" and "Evening" are not a problem since the bottom one says "Morning" and I take all 3 together. There's plenty of room (I think each compartment could take at least 10 capsules), and the clear front lets me tell at a glance if I've taken that morning's pills. The bottom of each compartment is actually slanted (to make room for the compartments on the flip-side), so once you put the front covers back in place and put it right-side-up, the pills can slide to the front for easy viewing. They can't hide in the back, forcing you to peer in. I'm giving this 5 stars because it has completely turned around things for me, finally getting me into the habit of taking my doses every day. But I do have some minor pet-peeves. 1. No, each compartment does NOT have its own cover. Instead, each day has a 4-compartment-long, clear plastic, sliding... door. 2. There are notches that you have to slide this through, so you kind of "thread" it back into place. But they grip too strongly and I have to put a little extra effort into sliding them off, making it more like yanking. Maybe in time these will loosen a bit. 3. Despite the slanted floors of the compartments, when I try to keep the thing upright for actual disbursement, I usually have to give the thing a little shake to get all the pills to come out. I could lay it on its back, but that would mean fishing for the pills with my fingers, something that the slanted floor actually makes more difficult. 4. It takes forever to load the thing up every 2 weeks, but I don't think it would be much different than any other pill dispenser in that respect. 5. The "top" of each cover has a grip that helps you "slide" it out. It would otherwise be next to impossible to remove them due to the snug fit. But, that means that you can only slide them in one direction. So when it's time to take my last dose, I have to basically remove the cover. I like to keep the "doors" shut when not in use, so this seems an annoying extra step, but I guess that's my own fault for insisting on closing it up between doses.

Holds two weeks worth of more than a dozen pills a day, and and takes up comparatively small space
Ive only used two other pillboxes that have multiple (more than two) compartments for different times of the day [...] . Ive gone thrugh two of the first in as many years, due to pills breaking and the thin plastic lining in the walgreens pillboxes deteriorating (makes one wonder what those pills do to a persons insides). On the second type linked to, the lids wore off and the compartments were too small to hold my dope anyway. Most of the lower ratings for this Meds-Pro 14-Day Double Sided Pill Organizer complain either about the small size of the compartments, thehard to read labels (morning, noon, evening, night), or the difficulty in using the tabbed covers. These are all legitimate complaints for elderly users, but I am a disabled veteran in my late 40s, and still have dexterity and relatively good eyesight. I take about a dozen capsules, pills and tablets a day of various sizes ranging from prescription pain killers and anti inflammatories and muscle relaxers to supplements like Milk thistle for liver therapy (from all the pain killers and anti inflammatories and muscle relaxers). Its true the labels arent easy to read, however once you figure out and remember the pull tab is over the night compartment, you can orient the box so that labels arent necessary anyway (left to right, 7 columns one for each day of the week, and going down towards the tab are morning, noon eve and night compartments. not difficult to learn) Also nice is only having to load it twice a month, expecially for such a relatively small pill box.

Love the sliding tab covers instead of snap lids
This has saved so much time and confusion organizing medications for my Mom!! I use it for 28 days of meds am one side, pm the other. Have a small additional container for days 29-31. Each compartment is deep and can hold many pills including larger vitamins. At first she was having trouble removing all of them because of the depth, but I showed her how to just pull the tab down from over the targeted compartment and turn it upside down. The tabs are easier to slide up and down than the ones you have to snap open or close especially for arthritic fingers. Also, when I refill monthly itโs much faster to slide the 7 tab covers off each side than open up 31 separate compartments on standard pill boxes. (the monthly organizers) Weโve had it over a year and itโs holding up great, no lids breaking off and having to buy new ones. Also, easier to wash and air dry.

Tossed it...very cumbersome to use
I bought this because it had the capacity to hold almost a 30-day supply of twice-a-day meds so I thought it'd be very organized. The compartments are slanted inside so first problem was that the smaller of the pills would get stuck in there and they were very difficult to pry out. Second problem is that, say you need the meds from the top row, you have to slide the ONE-PIECE cover off of the whole row to get to it. Then put it back on through the little sliding tracks. I expected it to have a pop open door for each compartment, not a one-piece cover for the whole row. I ended up buying a one-week twice-a-day contraption and I just refill each week. Easier than hassling with this.

Overall Great Product
I was on the hunt for a two week pill/vitamin holder with 3 a day...even thought this is a 4 a day, I decided to go forward for two reasons, because of the great reviews and because I emailed the company concerning ordering with the Opaque covers (because pills/vitamins should not be in clear containers/light should not be hitting them) and they responded the following day (it was a weekend when I emailed!) telling me to place my order here on Amazon within few days and when they saw my name, would make sure to send the right covers. Well, my product arrived, and I was so happy to find they had done exactly as they said they would. Pros... Thin, sits against the wall in my kitchen, looks much better than having 3 of those one week plastic ones with the tabs which are so much harder to open with my hands swollen...the compartments are large enough to fit all my pills and vitamins, which is quite a lot...people may not even know what it is unless they really look...with the opaque covers, you dont see the pills or the days (which can be a downfall, but it is easily fixed by using permanent marker and writing days or numbers etc on the sliders)...the sliders, fit great, slide easy and are not "cheap or thin". The only downside I think is the picture was sort of miss leading, it looks like the product "opens"...thought it would lay flat for filling...not true, so my husband and I have to fill one side, put in the sliders and then do the other...that is sort of a pain, but the goods outway that I feel. Overall, great product, not bad looking (as I said prior, sits flush against my wall...would easily fit in the corner of a cabinet as well, holds lots of pills/vitamins, etc. Love it!

Simple and functional--exactly as it is meant to be!
The pill organizer arrived within just a few days of being ordered. We laid it on it's side and filled it with the vitamins and prescription drugs we use and just slid in the slats to keep things in their proper time slots. Because the slats are transparent, it's easy to see whether or not you took the pills at the proper times (the rows are marked with the days of the week and in each row, a slot for morning, afternoon, evening and night). It's sturdy and doesn't take up much space (although I should note there is plenty of room in each slot for more pills than we need to take) so after filling both sides of it for two weeks' worth of use, we just left it on the counter--easy to see and use. And I'm really happy to know this item was manufactured right here in the USA! Good product that helps to keep an important thing simple.

Fantastic easy to fill organizer that holds lots pills. Huge design flaw that allows pills to slip out the top.
First the good: After a year of owning one, I'm back to buy a second. I've always been good at taking my prescription meds appropriately, but prescribed vitamins...I'm less compliant. I've noticed every time my premixed supply in this organizer runs out, I slip into the habit of only taking what I must take to keep living and ignoring all the rest until never-come's tomorrow. My meds and dosage varies daily, so an organizer like this is a must for someone with a fuzzy brain. It is also great for the vitamins I should be taking, but can't tolerate on a daily basis. I never need to worry if it is a day for X med/vitamin or not, they're all in there ready to go for me, and on a rotation set out on a day my brain was cooperating. Now the bad: This second one I'm ordering will make it so I have 6 weeks between filling times (using one side for morning, one side for evening). That brings me to the one drawback of this organizer: if you take anything potentially dangerous NEVER FILL THE TOP ROW. The sliding out panels for accessing meds are too flimsy. They are easily caught on things (my sleeve, blankets, edge of medicine lock box) and pulled up enough to allow one or two pills in the top row to slip out. I had it happen several times before I realized where the rogue pills were coming from. My meds are dangerous, and as all meds should be, are locked safely out of reach. Never filling the top row keeps my meds from flying about, but is inconvenient considering I'd prefer a full month worth of organization. That said, this organizer is the best I've found--even with this very annoying (potentially very dangerous) flaw.

Brilliant Invention
Without question the best designed pill organizer I've ever used. Like others, I am able to make this case last for 28 days since I only take pills twice a day. Those who only take pills once a day could squeeze 56 days out of this case. As a world traveler, this case is so much easier than hauling around bottles of pills, but even if one never traveled, the ability to divide up pills once every four weeks vs weekly make this a handy gadget. I'm also impressed that the days of the week are engraved rather than merely painted, since the painted days always wear off after a year or two. UPDATE: I should have mentioned that when you clean these, be extra careful to put the pull-out plastic pieces back with the "tongue" facing towards you. Any other way and you will break the tabs that hold the plastic piece and your pills will either fall out or migrate to the wrong organizer. Trust me, I know. That said, I've purchased several more over the years and it's still a fabulous product. UPDATE: I've owned this product for 11 months and several of the small tabs that hold the sliding doors have broken. At this point the case is still functional since the sliders are held in by 8 tabs. I won't dock this a star since if I had to buy a new one every year, I probably would.
