I recently took this and the slightly smaller one to Hawaii for use in our timeshare villa. Their light weight and thinness make them ideal for travel and, of course, home storage. So far, they haven't dulled my knives any more than a wood or plastic cutting board.They are, however, more prone to sliding and spinning on countertops during chopping than wood and plastic. To keep them stable at home, I use a "tacky" pad; on the road, a damp kitchen towel.They've endured about 10 dishwashing machine cycles without damage. I've noticed my older Epicurean brand (same material) board, which I bought used, is warped. Since the this type of board contains wood fiber, I'm going to clean it in the dishwasher only after using it for meat, poultry, and fish.

Very happy with this cutting board. I am a personal chef and wanted to try a non-plastic option that could also be sanitized. This board is sturdy, but light enough to make transporting a breeze. It doesn't warp and easy to clean. I love that I can throw in the dishwasher, as well. Highly recommend this product!

was looking for something that isn't plastic but also no steel/titanium or metal material since the knife can slip. Typically wood cutting boards can get dirty but this material is a perfect alternative because it's wood but feels like a durable plastic. Hard to explain but def recommend.

Buy with confidence however, be aware that it will show knife marks but not any worse than most other boards. It is what I expected.

I’m trying to get away from plastic. I have a couple silicone boards that are okay. I like the size of this one and that it is dishwasher safe!

I've always preferred a wood cutting board over plastic. But cleaning it was always an issue. I really love this new cutting board and so easy to wash and dry. Best purchase ever!
