Great tool for ON SITE metal work-
The old shoolhandle at the end was preferable, and yes, there is a plastic handle, and are a few plastic set knobs, but it's sturdily built. If you're not cutting straight, check your clamp and swap for a GOOD BLADE, check your bearings. I find it cutting straight and plum when I check myself, and one good blade lasts a good long time if you're not cutting stainless. Classic. Put your own wheels on and use for on site welding etc. Worth it plenty but not cheap. Slap Ass

Could be better
Had to figure out a pinched wire issue before I could use it when I first bought it, then works great for a while til the pressed in sleeve for the idler wheel becomes crooked. Now it doesnt make straight cuts anymore. Been using this for close to 3 years in a small fab shop. Not worth the price but just my opinion.

easy to adjust
Cuts straight, easy to adjust. Only 4 stars due to some complaints about the plastic handles which do seem cheap and not sturdy. The vise was poorly assembled and required disassembly and cleaning up with a file. Not acceptable for the price!

weak plastic in important places , not build to survive heavy use
After about 200 cuts and adjustments All plastic lug locks are broken cheap abs plastic along with the trigger assemble finally cracked it's now held together with zip ties and electrical tape Too much plastic in this machine Still cutting but very very disappointed for the price to have such basic failures . Now adjusting the machine wasted time
