Bad in every aspect
It doesn't really grate as much as it shaves tiny pieces. That is until it stops working. You have to push the top down with your thumb and it's really awkward. Eventually it wasn't strong enough to push through the cheese and it broke in my hand. I wouldn't say the worst product I have ever purchased but it is in the top 10 for sure.

It did not grate.
Horrible, I did not believe my wife and ended up having to throw it away and buy a different model. Did not grate it just mushed it, a little at a time. I am 6’, 200 lbs and had to exert so much force my thumbs hurt and even then it did not work well. Perhaps it will work better on VERY dry cheese, that is drier than parmigiana cheese....oh well.

Look elsewhere
This thing is great in theory but difficult to use. You have to press really hard for it to work. The result is nice but not worth the work at all. Will be buying a different one. Used it twice and hate it.

Great for parmesan
This is a well-made grater for parmesan. It grates the cheese in little paper-thin slices rather than straws, which is pretty cool and allows the cheese to breath and get great flavor. I do wish they would include some trigger mechanism to hold it closed better. It comes apart for easy cleaning and storage.

Not a cheese grater
I purchased this for grating Parmesan cheese. Upon opening, I could see the product was solid and of good quality. But the result of the grating was not what I expected. The flakes were about 1/4" x 1/4", far too large for Parmesan to be sprinkled on Italian pasta. The description does not specifically state that it is for grating cheese, but one would think the overall design lends itself for that purpose. Almost all the other similarly designed products offer 2 different flake drums; one for large and one for small flakes, whereas this one only has one for large. Shame on me for making assumptions.

Cuando lo usas es muy recio e incómodo, no es bueno

Safety cover for storage is a must
Mine arrived without the protective cover. I imagine that when it is stored in a drawer, any items near the grater will be subject to easily becoming damaged when they touch the grating surface. It is very sharp and the bi-directional blade design leaves many unavoidable sharp edges.

cutting blade wrong deminsions
Wish I would have returned this item.Soft cheese like cheddar gets stuck in the hole.Hard chees like parmesan does not feed well and comes out in large, very thin flakes.I do not like the cutting blades. They are too shallow and too big.The result is a really thin piece about the size of frosted flake cereal. But super thin.

No funciona.
En la tercera vez que lo usé para rayar queso suave, se rompió, más bien se descuadró. No me sirvió.

No me gustó mucho
Me agrada que esté cerrado de un lado para que no se salga todo el queso, lo malo es que, cuando trate de rallar queso manchego no pude y aparte el queso no queda finito, más bien quedan como “obleas”. La verdad no me gustó mucho el producto

Junk product, broke when i squeezed it to grade parmesan.

Poor Plastic construction
While the grating drum is stainless steel the body is plastic. It is hard to get any good pressure on the handle as it flexes as you try to grate. I was concerned that the handle would break while grating parmesan cheese. I ended up buying the Browne grater which is all stainless steel construction.
