However, I would highly suggest seeing a podiatrist for that. You can run into some significant infection-related issues doing this at home. Just a caring suggestion. **Q: how good is it at cutting skin** A: Not very, at least that was my experience and I only used one in the pack so maybe the others are sharper. I was disappointed and used it to try to slice open a milium near my eye. It basically tore my skin but I didn’t have anything sharper and wanted to get rid of the milium so I just went at it with the dull razor blade and did the best I could. I was disappointed and would pay up for a higher quality product but I don’t know what brand to go to. The only scalpel I used was sharp and great for removing the nucleus of a corn on my foot. The razor itself was smaller than I expected but effective nonetheless. It was a tad flimsy when cutting into the callus but quite good overall. I don’t have any other scalpels to compare it to, but for the price it worked well.
