Just like being there...
This Great TV show from the mid-70's was transferred from video tape to DVD and sized to fit your HD TV screen.Good Job! Three stages help keep the entertainment, from these live bands, flowing nonstop. Live video recording allows you to hear the raw talent of the Doobie Brothers, The Bee Gees, Electric Light Orchestra, Fleetwood Mac and incredible vocals by legendary singers from the 70's. I hope Amaray Productions releases more DVD sets of this incredible TV show.

Great, but doesn't "show" the entire "show"
If you remember watching The Midnight Special, you will love this dvd set! My only complaint is that it does not feature the shows in their entirety. If I remember correctly, the entire show was 60 or 90 minutes. The "shows" in this set are edited and condensed down to 15 or 20 minutes. It's STILL great to see the performances, but wish I'd known it wasn't the full shows.

Worthwhile
Decent. While some of the performances are forgettable there are some real suprises I am not a fan of Bread or Harry Chapin or Bread but they were great live. Fans of great rhythm shoud check out War

A fine journey back into the 70ties.
A fine journey back into the 70ties. Of course the picture and sound qualitiy of the dvd depends on what quality the 70ties TV shows were.but I think the bands and singer/songwriters obviousley all played live in the studio.Great memories for everyone who loves the 70ties music.

Excellent Value
Th.is set is a blast from the past. There are lots of singers from the 1970's performing on this multi disc set. It is well worth the money. This would make a great gift for anyone who was a fan of The Midnight Special in the 1970's.
