I bought a 3" thick, Soft, Queen-sized topper from this company (Pure Green). The topper arrived very quickly (earlier than expected), undamaged, in a smaller package than expected. The topper was very compressed and nearly vacuum sealed. It was a little clumsy to open up and unroll but no problems were encountered. I let it expand and "breathe" overnight before using it (it's rather heavy and very "bouncy" - challenging to move around when unpacked and unrolled). Yes, there was a distinct "rubber" smell (it reminded me of balloons). The next day, the smell seemed to be less than before. The quality of the latex is pretty good. On the end and bottom, there were some minor deformities (caused by air bubbles). None of these was bad enough for me to worry about. The material seemed sturdy and highly stretchy. I was honestly worried it would be too soft for my 285 lb. weight. When I flipped it over and inspected the top side, it was free of any imperfections. The "ventilation holes" (spread around 1 - 2" apart) were symmetrical and deep. They also went right up the the edges of the topper. I was pleased with the construction - it seemed to be of high quality. When I bought this product, Pure Green recommended an affordable, breathable cover to also buy, so I bought it. I had always intended to cover it anyway. The topper cover was excellent and fairly easy to put on. A zipper runs all the way around the seem of it. The end of the zipper got unzipped when I was preparing to put the topper in it and it was a little tricky to rezip it once the topper was placed on/in it... but it wasn't too bad - manageable by only one person). The cover dramatically muted the rubber smell and was very soft to the touch. Once I got the covered topper on my Queen-sized mattress (which is only about 7 months old - it's a firm, spring mattress), it matched my mattress size almost exactly. It was easy to move into position. I covered both of these with a new mattress cover (that was recommended when I bought the topper and it's cover). The mattress cover fit perfectly over both and further reduced any rubber smells. After weeks of use, I'm pleased to report that the topper and cover remained in place and didn't shift at all in the night. Being a 58-yr. old, big guy with broad shoulders (I used to be an athlete and weight-lifter), my new firm mattress was wrecking me each and every night. I often woke with back and hip pain in the morning, which took it's toll on my during the day. Since I've used this topper, I had no hip or back pain whatsoever. This topper actually wasn't too soft at all - it complimented my firm mattress perfectly. I never got hot in the night; I never sank in too far and pretty much all of my body felt supported and comfortable. I usually sleep on my side and sometimes my stomach - no problems and no more pain in the morning. Bliss! My 130 lb., 60+ yr. old wife laid on the mattress (I sleep alone on it) and she said she felt very comfortable on it too. I believe this product has a 10-yr. warranty. It has exceeded my expectations and caused me to sleep so much better than before. I'm extremely pleased and highly recommend it. P.S. There is no longer any hint of rubber smell at all, whatsoever. Double bliss!

After our last mattress topper went to the great mattress in the sky, we needed something else; or to invest in a new mattress. After getting sticker shock and being overwhelmed by all the mattress options I found a website that compares mattresses, mattress toppers and pillows. The site stated that for heavier people, side sleepers and couples this was one of the best options. We decided after reading some of the other very helpful reviews on here to go with the queen 3" soft topper. It came in a smallish VERY heavy box (so if you have trouble lifting items make sure you will have help when this is delivered to you!) We opened and unrolled the topper. We didn't leave it to air out because it was nearly bedtime, and I felt like the smell wasn't too awful. We have just regular depth fitted sheets and I was sure they wouldn't fit after seeing just how thick the mattress topper really was- however the sheets fit well. After sleeping on and changing the sheets sets several times now I am impressed that I din't have to go out and buy special fitted sheets to accommodate the topper! No problems at all with a normal fitted sheet covering both the mattress and topper, and absolutely no problems with the fitted sheet staying on all night over the topper. 5 stars for not making my life difficult! As far as the smell, while it did smell some when opening- the smell has faded and is no longer an issue at all. 5 stars for not making me gag! The comfort of the topper is very impressive. I was kind of anticipating comfort at first when laying down, but then throughout the night it not being as comfortable simply from being compressed by 2 bodies for hours. This is not at all the case! The topper remains comfortable all night long, not too springy and not too squishy. I was concerned that buying the soft topper would be too marshmallow-y, but I've got to say- I am so thankful we went with soft and not the medium! I thought being too soft would not give enough support and cause our backs to hurt, but it has done very well supporting and not overly cloudlike! 5 stars for comfort and support! Now, the negative.... we bought and started using this topper in January, during a particularly frigid winter, often below zero. Our bedroom is very cold, and I have trouble staying warm no matter how many blankets we have! After adding the topper to our bed, I find myself kicking off some covers and waking because I am too warm. This worries me since it's winter and I'm too warm, what will it be like in the summer when our underinsulated room is hot? I am thinking the amount of body heat the synthetic topper holds may make sleeping in warmer conditions really unpleasant. So 4 stars (for now) for holding in heat and disrupting sleep. I will update in the summer, hopefully I won't have to knock off more stars!

2 months in and I love this particular topper. I had a 3" memory foam topper (density unknown) for a few years and decided it had seen better days. I went back and forth over memory foam vs latex so so many times, I just could not make a decision. After doing A LOT of research (months), especially at a real unbiased website I don't think I can name here (?), I decided to go for latex - in particular THIS product, 3". And I love it. Here's my truth: 1) It does smell. Heavy smell of latex out of the box. It did diminish more quickly than I remember my memory foam doing, but the smell will be there. It wasn't noticeable after day 3. 2) It's not "hot-free." Not as hot as the memory foam, though. Memory foam heat seems cloying. BUY A COVER. It will help ease the heat retention by putting a layer between you and the latex, and absorb any sweat (I would do this for memory foam, too). I put the latex straight on the bed at first but I could feel my skin sweating. I used the cover I already had for the old memory foam topper and it helped tremendously. So, I recommend getting a cover. 3) It is supportive and soft. The way it responds to your body is not the same as memory foam, but I adjusted quickly - the first night I slept very well. When a description says "bouncy", they're right - it has a bounce-back feeling to it. I like the way it feels. And I don't think I explain this well, but I don't "feel" the topper - it's just support with softness. :) That's what I like about it. 4) I can sleep on my back and on my side comfortably. (!!) I noticed right away I didn't wake up as often to adjust my position. 5) 3" size was perfect. I think a 2" would not have offered enough "soft." I have osteoarthritis and slipped disks in my lower back, and top that off I have RA. Sleeping comfortably and well is a prescription for me. I'm thrilled with my purchase, and I do sleep better - deeper, even. I tried to keep my review as free from hyperbole as possible. But the truth is, I am really glad I spent the extra money and went for this product.

We purchased the Soft 3 Inch Pure Green Natural Latex Mattress Topper – (Queen Size) for $269 (+ $29 tax) which was one of the highest priced toppers available in hopes of maximizing comfort. Unfortunately, our mattress topper was not soft We have no history of joint pain, however all our joints started hurting after one day of sleeping on this mattress topper. We may have received the wrong topper or there is a manufacturing flow in this item. In order to use this topper we would have needed another topper on top of it. Here is what we learned from our experience: 1- The topper will need more than 24 hours of ventilation. The queen mattress is more than 33lbs. Moving it around is challenging. We elevated the topper on the bed so it has air circulating on all sides, and aired the topper for 24 hours with three fans in the room, two windows open, and two air purifiers. The odor was very strong in the room. We decided to try it anyway. We placed three mattress protectors, in hopes of incasing the smell, the odor still seeped through. 2- The seller is located in Niles, IL while the producer of this item is located in California. Thus, the seller has no direct ability to inspect the mattress. Here is how you can check if you received a soft topper; the box should have ”something on it that says Q3S to show that it's a Queen size 3" Soft Topper. If it says anything else (like Q3M or Q3F), then it would mean that you were sent the wrong item.“ (we learned this after returning the item) 3- Returning the topper VIA UPS was free. The issue is compressing it enough to place it in a box. The topper is heavy.

This is one of the best purchases I have ever made. I bought an inexpensive firm mattress that expanded as you opened it. The mattress is great. However, my right shoulder, hip and knee had been hurting before I started using the new mattress as well as afterwards. I put my weight, height , mattress brand , aches and pains, activity , etc into Chat GPT looking for ideas as to how to get rid of the pains. He told me that my mattress was too firm for me. He recommended multiple toppers based on value and best performance. This one was reviewed as THE Best! That once put on top of my mattress that I would feel like I was sleeping on a super expensive high end hotel bed - Chat GPT was correct!!! My bed is delightful and I look forward to sleeping now .
