Awesome!
I’m one of those people that love to do my own invitations and thank you cards! I also love matching them up with colorful matching envelopes! I had some Thank You cards from a big birthday party that were black, blue, and silver! So when I found these on Amazon, I jumped to get them! They were exactly as described—silver metallic envelopes that fit my standard 4x6 Thank You card...with some added extra room. The extra bonus was that they were self-sealing...no licking for me, which I find absolutely disgusting! So if that’s a selling point for you too, these will be great!

Beautiful, hefty envelopes.
I use these for cards that I print and sell. They're the perfect size and they are not transparent. They have a sticker-strip on the folding part, and it works well. I will say wait a second if you are wanting to write on the envelope itself. If sending it through the post, either write on paper/sticker to stick on the front, or write it on the envelope and cover with clear tape. Why? It smears. It is meant to be presented (and sent) within another envelope.They serve their purpose and I have bought them a few times, despite there being a little bit of difficulty in writing on them. They are beautiful envelopes.

Beware of smudging
Used these for my wedding save the dates. They are so pretty! I printed all the addresses on them and it worked great but never seamed to dry. I eventually tried spraying them with hairspray after printing and it prevented them from smudging 100%

Perfectly beautiful and thicker!
This envelope is exactly what I wanted for my personalized photo Christmas cards!! They arrived safely, are exactly as described, and are the same beautiful color as shown in the picture. I needed something thicker, and these are perfect. I am very happy and recommend!!
