I can count on one hand how many product reviews I’ve ever completed, but definitely had to leave a positive review for this product. If you’re looking for an entry level projector for your basic around the house needs, then look no further!I was looking to spend more time with the family in our backyard during the evenings and realized a projector might be just the solution. I spent two full days researching the different options at my local big box electronics store and realized that the prices ranged generally between $350 and $700. I figured that price point was a bit high for what I was looking for as the projector wouldn’t be used for any important work related presentationsLuckily I came across the Artlii 4000! It was listed at $189.00 with an additional $10 off coupon. I was a bit skeptical at first given the price point being so far below what I had known to be the average cost of a projector unit. However, at less than $200 this little unit can go toe for toe with any of its more expensive counterparts.Picture quality is amazing! So amazing that I never actually had to purchase a projector screen as the image projects in HD quality directly onto a brown wall we have in the background (see included photos). Currently getting well over a 100 inch image at about 15 feet. The sound quality is surprisingly crisp and clear. We’ve never had to even consider hooking up an external speaker as the volume is loud enough for everyone to clearly hear at even the lower settings. The built in focus, tilt and vertical adjustments are a luxury to have in such a cost friendly unit. In addition to unit runs virtually silent so you won’t be bothered by a loud annoying humming verbally produced by projectorsWe were able to hook up our AppleTv in addition to an XBox for video games without any issues and the built in remote for the unit makes for easy access to video/picture settings for dialing in the perfect customizations.In conclusion, if you are new to the projector world and are simply looking for a well built unit with an amazing picture/sound quality without taking out a second mortgage on your home to finance it, then the Artlii 4000 is the unit you’ve been searching for!!!

Being a dad, I didn't want a Christmas gift, so I could spend more on everyone else. But my wife and kids were insistent I get something and suggested this projector. My 10 year old son picked it out and he did a great job of research!The fact this has an LED instead of an expensive bulb is the key. It operates a lot cooler than any other projector I've used. Light level is excellent in a dark room. OK in a moderately lit room. You'll need more light for a bright room. The LED means long life and cheap to operate. And it should be more durable.I've only tried the HDMI input thus far, but assume the others work similarly.I was going to get an adapter to attach my iPhone to the HDMI, but after researching this, I learned the streaming services like Netflix do not allow porting out of the iPhone. Really - how many are going to pirate videos this way? Anyhow - it led me to get another Amazon FireTV dongle (on-sale) and that is working superbly.The only thing I'd like to see on this unit - and might pay a little more for - is an ability to zoom the screen size, that is, adjust the throw of the picture. There are 2 adjustments - one for the keystone (adjusting for angle) and the other is focus. In order to make the image larger or smaller you physically move the projector. This is working OK in our bedroom, where we put it between us on the bed and it casts about a 10' diagonal image on the wall. Outside, you could get it much larger (purportedly 20') if it is dark and you're casting it on a white surface. You'll need to have a very long room or be outside to back up the projector enough to get the screen size this large.The built-in audio amplifier is excellent. Just fine for watching in the bedroom. There is a surround sound mode that sounds good. But the normal mode is best when it's next to our heads. The fan is quiet enough that it's not distracting.One additional thing that would be good would be an integrated carry handle. I'm keeping it in the nice box with a handle at this point but eventually may get a bag / backpack for it.

I bought this to take to a family event where we wanted to show a slideshow. For the money, the projector is really great. It's easy to use, has good picture quality and a pretty bright image. It's not the brightest I've seen, and I wouldn't expect to watch the projector in a fully lit room, but again, for the money, this one would be hard to beat. Noise level isn't too bad (from the fan) either. Inputs are very straightforward and simple, and the controls are equally easy to use.

I am an amateur at video/audio products. I selected this projector based on the fact several individuals commented it was great for outdoor movie viewing. I’m planning a camping trip with several you kids and movie watching came up as a planned activity. The directions included are fairly simple despite the fact several phrases have been translated oddly. The set up was quick, the picture was clear and the volume surprising. The group watching the movie were all in a tent, so they were in close proximity and not spread out too far. The volume was surprising loud and heard above the popcorn munching. I like the remote that accompanied it and the fact that we had options for plug in. We used an HDMI connector to a laptop. I do like that there are several ports should I decide to use a different device to play movies on or stream from a tablet or phone. Overall, very pleased with the quality and I would recommend for the novice user that wants a clear picture, quality audio and simplicity in a plug and play projector.
