It was really easy to assemble and the instruction video was really helpful. Quality feels great, looks and feel way better than factory, color is just like expected. It includes all the tools you might need, and restore pleasure of using such an expensive controller as the Xbox Elite. It fits so great that you can mix-match original parts with this one and it will align and function great.

This full shell replacement kit for the xbox elite series 2 core controller was perfect. The original grip was peeling off the old shell and made the controller feel old and dirty. I didn’t want to replace the controller with a new one because the price and the controller still functioned well besides for the grips peeling off. The installation was quite easy while following the video the company provides on youtube. The new shell feels premium and looks great. I went with clear green for replacement on the red core elite controller and the red and green together looks alright although opinions differ.

Came with all the tools needed to disassemble and reassemble the controller and came separated from the frame from the injection molding so no trimming needed. The quality feels good. The parts fit together just fine although I had a little trouble getting the triggers to accurately read and had to mess around with the way I put it together other than that it’s working great and it looks good

Buckle up because this is going to be longer than either of us would like. At the top, this is easily an 8/10. But if you are expecting to just drop your parts in a go, you’re going to be disappointed. Clear your afternoon if you’ve never messed with a controller before. The video on the website is actually very good at explaining how to take the old one apart and install it into the new shell. But there were 2 things that docked a star or 2 points. First, the shortest trigger stop setting didn’t work out of the box. I had to file some material away to get it to work. And because I’d already put the faceplate on, meant I had to pry it off again. And 2 of the clips broke. This isn’t really their fault, plastic is going to break like that and I’m not a professional controller repair tech. But now that I have filed and reassembled it, it’s working great. And the broken clips are not noticeable at all. Looks great and feels great. I will actually be buying another for a friend soon. Take your time. Don’t rush this, and don’t close it up before testing everything you can. Fit the faceplate for button clearance and the housing for trigger function before closing it all up. Use as many videos as you can to get the best angles and advice before you start taking things apart. And the tools provided are ok but if you have literally anything else, I’d just use your tools instead.

I wanted to replace my shell as the grips were all pealing off, and I figured I’d have some fun by getting this transparent shell. Now, if you’re not familiar with taking apart small plastic and electronic components, I’d watch some videos first. Especially removing the two wires that run to the daughter board and getting the plastic hair trigger selectors in place. Also getting the thumb stick domes out can be a pain. However, this review is about the shell itself and it’s great. It’s exactly as it states and feels durable. Happy with the results.

The colors are not easy to find, however the plastic breaks very easily especially the clips and the screws get stripped in the plastic. But that may be because I recieved a used item. It had two duplicates of the torx drivers which made it impossible to remove the battery cover. Mismatching front and back cover was in the package, and I bought this new. I sent it back and got a new replacement that did have the right parts but I had to use the smallest torx driver from the old box bcus the one in this package was defective metal molding so it did not fit proper. One of the clips have already broken when I had to take off the cover which I done with the old cover many times and rarely has any clips been damaged. All in all its probably worth the price but it sucks when tools aren't properly included as stated and a return is needed to get the product to be successful. If I didn't have multiple remotes I wouldn't have had a remote to use. I have torx drivers myself in a set also but I couldn't find one for the one they left out in that original package.

Took me maybe 5 minutes to replace the OG shell. Got my Elite series 2 feeling comfortable to hold again in no time. It includes everything you need, including the pry tool. Its much easier to re-shell the elite series 2 than it is a standard controller. Shell feels like a regular shell, doesnt feel cheap or anything either. Color is very close to my OG shell, I really like it and im glad the swap was easy.

Bought this shell as the Rubber Grips on my Xbox Elite Controller Series 2 had came off and I was having issues with the Bumpers. (While you have the shell off, spray the bumper buttons with some WD40 or Isopropyl Alcohol) Has issues with the installation of the Hair Trigger switch, as the video didn't clearly show that the piece needed to slide under another piece of plastic, however the rest of the instructions were clear and easy to follow. I never used the provided purple XYAB buttons, triggers or bumpers due to aesthetic reasons, but the new shell looks great and feels comfortable in my hands. You may want to look into purchasing a replacement battery as many controllers have had issues with bulging batteries, and you could easily replace this too while replacing the shell.

Ho acquistato questa cover trasparente per personalizzare il mio controller Xbox Elite Series 2 e sono rimasto molto soddisfatto del risultato. Il materiale è di buona qualità e il design trasparente permette di vedere l’interno del controller, dando un look molto particolare e moderno. Nel mio caso non ho cambiato i bottoni perché mi piaceva di più con questa configurazione. Il montaggio richiede un po’ di attenzione perché bisogna smontare il controller, quindi è più indicato per chi ha un minimo di manualità. Una volta installata però la cover si adatta perfettamente e il controller rimane solido come l’originale. I pulsanti e gli anelli degli stick inclusi completano molto bene l’estetica e rendono il controller davvero unico. Consiglio questo prodotto a chi vuole personalizzare il proprio controller senza doverne comprare uno nuovo.
