Dear customer, thank you for your inquiry. Our honey is raw. Let us explain what it means in detail. Raw honey goes through several stages before it makes to the stores. First, it is extracted from the hives, using the manual honey extractor, which doesn’t involve heating. The honey is then filtered with a mesh or nylon fabric to separate the honey from impurities such as bee wax and dead bees. In the next step, we use semi-mechanical equipment to bottle the honey. In none of the above mentioned, we heat the honey. Our raw honey is therefore able to preserve the natural minerals and antioxidants. Unlike processed honey, we don’t heat our honey to make it stay liquid for longer period. Therefore, our honey might start crystallizing at some point, unlike processed honey, that always stays pure.

Q: Hi, i just received your honey, but there is no label referring to organic product, or non gmo. nonetheless, it is advertised as organic. why?

ARASHAN honey comes from the Tien Shan mountain, the place where there are no GMO’s and no pollution. All of our products are 100% organic, unfiltered, unpasteurized, with no added sugar and no artificial ingredients.
