Like, it is exactly what I needed

Fit the pre drilled tailgate holes of my 2020 Honda truck perfectly. My bed extender also fits the truck mounts perfectly.

Worked great but they forgot to include all the hardware.

I found an AMP Research Bed Extender at a garage sale for $15. I didn't like the brackets that came with it as they were a different style, rusty, and didn't have any instructions. The only problem I encountered was that when I flipped the Bed Extender up, it hit the frame for my Tonneau Cover. I had to shim the brackets in a little bit with a flat washer and trimmed the Tonneau Cover frame slightly with an angle grinder...works just fine now.

Looks like my old truck mounts I forgot to take off before buying my new 2023 Tacoma. Didn’t include “supplied” template.

Ease of installation and price

Just what I needed to bring life back to my bed extender (and reclaim the space in my garage). I took a chance with these without the other brackets available for beds with tonneau covers - they work fine, but I just have to be careful when flipping over the extender to be inside/outside the bed, as the sides of the bed extender will rub against hinges from the bed cover. Giving only 4 stars because they did come with installation directions but was missing the 'template' so had to work that out on my own.(Note: My bed extender was dealer-provided on a 2007 Nissan Titan with Utili-track sliding bed extender brackets. Now put to use on a 2010 Nissan Titan with a tonneau cover)

For $20 this is a no brainer. If you're like me and have purchased a second hand Amp Research truck bed extender and the mounting hardware wasn't included, this one is the way to go. Luckily my 2011 Ram 1500 already came with pilot holes that marked the exact location for these on the box, just needed to drill a small hole, then screwed them without issue. The bed extender has to be dropped into these slots from straight up, then once seated they allow full movement from inside the bed to outside. Very pleased.

My truck: 2002 Dodge RAM 1500, 8' bed.I bought a used bed extender (Arm Research) for $25.00; otherwise, I don't bother. The bed extender did not come with mounting hardware.The part AMP Research 74604-01A looks cheap but it works fine in my case.
