Silverado EV x Rexing
Bought to hardwire a Rexing dashcam. This kit has multiple fuse taps included making an easy install for many fuse sizes. Found a fuse that is on/off with ignition, what I want... but this kit has a battery protection that will cut power below a certain voltage for thos who want theirs on all the time.

Excellent Product - Used With AKASO DL9
NOTE: This is not instructions of how to install this product. You do so at your own risk. Have a qualified installer install this as you can do, but not limited to, destroy your car, damage the dash cam or cause a fire.I purchased three of these kits and installed it with the AKASO DL9 Rear View Mirror Dashcam. It comes with a pry tool which is fine but it is on the smaller side. A separate pry tool kit may make it easier. A simple multimeter is also required as you'll need to find power with accessory or ignition (up to you) as will as ground. A screwdriver or drill driver may be necessary as well.Installation was self-explanatory. Before you unpackage the item, visually inspect your car and find where the fuse panel is located. In one car it was near the kick panel on the driver's side and on another it is located inside the glove box.Once I found the fuse box, I mentally made a note of how I was going to route the wiring from the fuse box up to the rear view mirror. This determined what covers I needed to remove. Open your dash cam kit package and verify its contents.I started by probing at the fuse box with the multimeter to find power when accesory is on. Then I used the included fuse taps. The fuse taps unfortunately did not fit on one of my cars so I just hardwired it into one of the fuses itself. I put it on the legs that sends out power, not the one that receives it. It's an added layer of security for myself but still it is NOT RECOMMENDED. Also found ground on a metal on the cars chassis. I used an existing screw that was on the car body near the fuse box. Also to be on the safe side I added an In-Line fuse between the red power wire going from the fuse box into the circuit on the dash cam kit. Used wire cutters to cut off the metal connector on the end of the power wire and then spliced the inline fuse wire in. Soldered and then used heat shrink wrap for wires to cover the splice. The circuit apparently comes with a fuse inside but I didn't want to take any chances.Took off pillars, plastic covers, etc. and routed the wiring up to and through the headliner near the camera. In one car I needed to unscrew the vanity mirror or other screws in order to give space to send the wiring through. This is an excellent product and I have not had any problems

Cable is facing the wrong way
This cable works fine and I was able to find a usable fuse in my 2020 Volvo V60 to tap into. The only issue I have and why I deducted a star is the direction of the mini-USB side of the cable does not match the pictures on the listing. If you plan on using this cable with a Viofo A119v3 dash cam for example, just know that the cable exits forward from the camera so you will have to twist it back into the headliner. I have attached some pics so you have an idea.Overall not a huge deal but would not have bought this particular cable if I knew the direction on the mini-USB side would be wrong.

Must use for Dashcam, 24hr parking monitor system
Used for Vantrue S1 4K Dash Cam Front and Rear, 1080P Dual GPS Dash Camera with 24 Hours Parking Monitor system. Must have for the 24hr parking monitor system since this avoids draining your battery when your vehicle engine is off/vehicle parked. Easy to install, but somewhat takes time to locate and identify your vehicles fuse box. You need to familiarize yourself with the fuse box schematics and identify what fuse to use for this accessory. Also, go to a auto parts store for spare fuses prior to using the ones you will try. Not a tech person, but this was easy to install (less than 40-minutes without any distractions).

Best way to hardwire a dashcam in a relatively inexpensive manner. Instructions poor.
Review of Dash Cam Hardwire Kit, Mini USB Hard Wire Kit Fuse for Dashcam, Plozoe 12V-24V to 5V Car Dash Camera Charger Power Cord, Gift 4 Fuse Tap Cable and Installation Tool 11.5ftI ordered this to hardwire a new dashcam front and rear in a 2002 Ford Taurus SEL. I desired to use the parked protection functionality of the dashcam and one of these kits was recommended. I opted for the fused ones since they seem to be easier to install than the others that require wrapping wires around existing fuses. These types add an additional layer of protection to your automobile’s electrical system. There is ample cable to hide the wires and run them up to the windshield mounted dashcam like I want to do. If you’re like me and are not mechanically inclined, I encourage you to watch a couple of YouTube videos to get a better understanding of how to install these correctly. It is not all that difficult, but the instructions that come with it do not thoroughly explain how to do the install properly. Also handy to have is a multimeter or volt pen so you can check fuses to use. Comes with a tool to assist in tucking wires.Hope this helps someone decide about this product.

Not Good in Cold Weather
This works great 90% of the time. However, in very cold temperatures (below freezing), it does not work- my dashcam acts like it isn’t getting enough or consistent power- it will power on, then immediately shut back off, and power on again, repeating this process constantly. I have had 2 of these products that do this- I replaced the first thinking it was faulty after doing this, but the second does the same.

It might work for a year or two... maybe
First Plozoe hardwire kit lasted about 2 years, then my dashcam started powering on & off constantly. My camera worked fine with the power outlet adapter so I knew it was the hardwire adapter that was causing the trouble. I ordered a new Plozoe adapter and it did the exact same thing right out of the box. I though I might have vehicle electrical problems, but I decided to try ordering a different hardwire kit instead. I ordered the cheaper Gebildet kit and my camera works fine. I would have returned the Plozoe kit, but I cut the power cable to use it the fish the new cable through the dash. I have had two Plozoe hardwire kits. One failed after about 2 years and the other didn't work right out of the box.
