Replacement Head Cushion Headband Compatible with DENON AH-D2000 D5000 D7000 D1100 Headphones

My headband on my AH-D7100 started falling apart and the cushioning isn't good anymore. You can reupholster it yourself if you have the materials and skills (or know someone), but I don't have that time right now. This fit a bit awkwardly and tight around the headband at first, but it breaks in and works really well.

Not the best looking headband for sure but at least it's way better than my old one with flaking p-leather.

After removing my old worn out headband cushion this was a nice snug fit that comes almost right to the end of the headband for a fairly clean look like it belongs there. It actually ended up being thicker and softer than the original and now that I've done the hard part of taking the old one off I can replace this one easily when it wears out by simply wrapping it around and buttoning it shut without taking the headphones apart again. Already ordered another one for future use in case they become hard to find. It's just about perfect. :)

I replaced my deteriorated leather band on my Denon D2000s with this kit. The padding is perfectly adequate on the replacement pad.The process to replace the pad involves removing the old leather pad comptetely. I cut my leather pad out, but you can instead unscrew the top pad from the Denon/Fostex headphones with the exposed 'mini phillips screws'. Once the old pad is removed, the replacement pad can be wrapped around the exposed metal bar (I also used the plastic insert from the old pad).This is a clear 'generic Chinese' product (YDYBZB? Really? Flooding the US with these fake brands) but the price is excellent and the quality is perfectly acceptable as well. This isn't sheepskin leather but it is soft enough for my scalp.

I found it pretty difficult to find a replacement headband for the Denon AH-D2000 especially at a decent price. This one fits the bill. While I don't love the looks of it with the snaps, I do like not being covered in the little flecks of faux black leather that were shedding furiously off the old headband. The snaps, while not my style, do make installation easy. It is a tight fit so you will need to remove the old headband prior to install. If you're on a budget and don't mind the look of the snaps, I'd say this is a good option.

They fit okay on my Denon AH-D2000 cans. They don’t go all the way down to the ends of the head band (where the extenders start see images), but almost! so some dirt might/will accumulate there over time, but I was not expecting them to have as great a coverage as the original head band. All in all I am happy with my purchase.

The media could not be loaded.  As you can see, it doesnt cover the whole thing. Which makes it hard to adjust the headphone and looks ugly.

The media could not be loaded.  I didn’t like the edges… they had an odd corner on each side that was almost like a goofy “ear” shape. I managed to glue them down without making a mess and now they look great and feel great. YMMV or maybe you don’t care about the aesthetics…if that’s the case they should fit the bill.
