Never A Leak
After using Rectorseal T+2 for years without a leak, I tried this 5 version on air compressor fittings because it semi-hardens when it dries, which might take the abuse and vibration of compressor lines better. Like T+2 it works great and hasn't leaked so far. Rectorseal is great stuff, it's made in USA and has never failed me on natural gas, pressure washers, and air compressors. When Teflon tape is included with a threaded pipe product, I always throw it away and use Rectorseal.

Did the job sealing the gas pipes!
I bought this thread sealant for fixing my gas furnace, needed to replace the gas valve that stop working. It does its job, I had no problem with gas leaks. It’s easy to use with the brush and right viscosity of the sealant. My advice, apply a generous amount to the thread but only on the male connector, don’t apply to close to the end since the sealant could get into the stream and clog the gas valve in my case. You can wipe off the excess once you’re done connecting the pipes. Make sure you get the write one, this brand has the white and yellow, yellow is for the gas sealant.

so far so good
I bought this to seal new connectors to an existing propane line. The paste was as easy to use as anything else. So far no leaks and the seals are holding. Not sure how well it will hold up being out in the weather but only time will tell. I like paste over tape because it can get in the nooks and crannys easy than the tape. I've never used this brand before as I usually buy at my local big box store. It seems like it is of good quality and the price was right.

Nothing but the best
Had to hook up a new water heater to an RV last week and that meant dealing with the propane lines. Everyone I spoke to who had been in the business for years, had recommended this, hands down. It did not disappoint. No leaks. First try.

Worked great
Following detection of a gas leak near my grill, I employed the product, re-secured the hose connection, and the odor has since dissipated. The product proved effective in providing a temporary solution to the gas leak.
